I'll usually camp a hole just long enough for it to quiver and squirt something out. After that, it's all about me!

My favorite camping incident involved waiting ~8 hours or so for a covops kill.
A mate and I had deployed for a week or 2 of site running in a C5. We were keeping our POS offline when we weren't using it to look inconspicuous.
About 4 days in some random happened to get the same idea and setup shop in a POS of his own and started running sites with his Nid and 2 BSs.
At this point our PVE excursion turned into a PVP excursion. This was some time ago and we were a bit worried about dropping both our dreads and carrier on him in site due to the triple escalation it would spawn due to him not using any dreads. (In hind sight we should have just shot him...)

So we observed his process, brought in a few special ships (like a HIC and a smart bombing proteus for agro).

Couple days later it was a pulic holiday in Australia and I was on by myself since my mate was working.
I knew our target had the location of the current WH and when he logged in in the morning it was EOL.
The WH was off dscan of his POS so I decided to make my move and wait for him to log back in.
I knew his covops pilot was his Nid pilot so podding it would result in a free Nid too after we knocked over his small POS.
I set up my HIC 50km off the WH towards his POS and spent the next 8 hours or so waiting for him to log back in and check the WH, setting up decloak cans in the meantime.

About 8 hours later he did log in and did go check the WH where my cans, HIC and buzzard were waiting:
http://eve-kill.net/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=10923126

After that, he bumped the Nid out of his shields and went to pop it so we helped him out:
http://eve-kill.net/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=10923203

He advised later he wanted to pop it for the faction mods.
Actually, at the time neither of us could fly a Nid so we couldnt steal it anyway.

At this point he SDed the 2 BSs and his orca (aparently no spare covops) and then the pods, we cleaned up his POS and moved on.

There is no Bob.

Jumped into a C2 with a static HS and C4, scouted the system to find several mining ships floaty. Took a few days of absolutely no action besides the odd indy ship warping off to do whatever they do at those customs offices. Decided to wait for something better. The third day in they started to form up a mining op. I watched 7 hulks/mackinaws warped in from the highsec. It took them 3 hours to form up.....painful. They would log in, log out, move the ships all about then finally, warped the fleet to the first grav site. Whoa. So we had 5 macks, 2 hulks, 2 orcas (yes in space) and a tengu. I had a cloaky tengu with one point. Sometimes late night USTZ can really blow to get help. After convoing a few wh corps Pell and his gang made several jumps to help spread the points........that tengu.

You can call this camping I guess.

Guy streaming live on twitch.tv from his C2 wormhole. They have jucy tengus and don't check D much. I asume they are going to do something stupid. He right clicks and we see a BM with Hek in the name.

I burn to HEK with my scanner and probe down a Wormhole. Its a C2. My heart rate increases. I jump in and cannot believe my eyes. It's his J-sig.

I seed in a tengu. Rename the same as their tengu and logoff. I watch the stream for the night and wait for the perfect moment.

I gank some Miners.

Later on he streams again. I log on and scan the new HS static The guys from my corp are 7 jumps out so I explain the situation and they burn down to the HS system in whatever ships they can field.

The streamers begin to attack a Customs office with 3 tengus. This is perfect. We have a DIC. They bail as it seems to be taking no damage.

They then warp to a gas site with a tengu and cane. I drop probes and find their site. I this this is our chance.

They cannot find the gas on the overview so another tengu warps in to have a look. I call the sabre in and warp him to the Gas site. The fleet jump in and I warp them also.

I will leave the rest to this Video < got to about 1 hour in. That's when the action starts.

I will update this post with an eve-kill battle report (the service seems to be down atm) but here's the griefwatch link for now, with related kills showing some of the kills.

We jumped into a C4, saw Chimera, and a handful of battleships on scan. They had also had ratting the previous day (about 25 hours before) so we thought, oh lucky us, they're about to start. Since this was pre-Odyssey, and they had no overwatch probes visible, we slowly started moving combats into the wormhole.

Suddenly, several of the battleships stored their ships, so 4 pods were visible. The Chimera and another pilot switched into Orcas. Crap we thought, they're going to log. Then they all warped off in the same direction. Maybe they're going out a wormhole? Fortunately we had them all watch listed, so one of my guys logged in a tracking alt and put the name of one of the orcas into a Locator agent, saw that they were in a low-sec 4 jump out of Rens. We waited a few more minutes, and the battleship pilots were in Rens as were the Orcas. We quickly scanned down their static C3 and found the low-sec. We then moved a scout 100km off the undock of Rens, and watched one of the Orca pilots undock in a Charon, and start making best speed towards Jita. We followed him as far as Urlen before we ready to confirm that he was making the full run to Jita. 30 jumps or so, we estimated it would be about 45 minutes to an hour there, and then the same back. It ended up being almost 3 hours. Finally though, we had a report that the Charon was undocking and appeared to be heading back to Rens. I set a timer for 45 minutes (figuring he wasn't going to go any faster than this) and told people to go get a cup of coffee and stretch.

Sure enough, he showed up at Rens, and docked up the Charon. About 5 minutes later, 4 battleships and 2 orcas undocked. We brought an interdictor forward and put it on the C3 side, with all but 2 of our T3s on the C4 side (knowing that these guys were going to have to jump back into the C3). At this point, we're about an hour from down-time, and very concerned they're just going to wait it out in the low-sec. But then, "Activation on the low-sec, it's one of the orcas!" They all jumped in, and they warped a maelstrom forward first, but everything else quickly followed. With all of them in warp, we dropped a dictor bubble on the C3 side, and jumped into the C4 getting ready to drop another bubble. The battleships landed, and we decloaked our two T3s to push them through. As they were jumping, I noted on comms "none of these battleships have guns, they could be smartbomb." As their 4 battleships/orca jumped into the C4, I dropped another bubble (dual launchers ftw!) and we pushed them back into the C3. The C3 started to get wobbly here, but we had them all timered on the C3 side, or bumped off on the C4 side. We quickly cleaned up all the ships and had about 26 minutes to spare until down-time. I told all but our Falcon pilots to pull back into our home, and run and grab industrials. As we began spooling through the killmails, we realized none of the battleships were fitted; all the fittings were in the orcas, along with quite a bit of POS fuel.

The guy (it turned out to be one guy) logged in ANOTHER alt in his home hole, and said simply in local "how long were you guys waiting?" "About 4 hours." "Okay good." - logs out. - Ended up with about 14 minutes until downtime with all the loot pulled and all our ships back in our home system. And Scoto (one of our Proteus pilots) even managed to stay awake at the wedding he was playing the organ for the next morning (I should really say later that morning, since he went to sleep at about 5 am his time).

I was camping a c4 that opened up to my c3....

They had popped probes and just sat there cloaked for over an hour. Somehow one of them jumped past into my C3 popped probes out and just sat there for another 45 minutes. Either they were REALLY bad at scanning or they just wanted me to know they were there. Either way, I gave up and logged for the night. It was my first real attempt to PVP in WH space.

Good thing there were some nice reruns on TV.

Last night, a guy jumped an Orca into our wormhole blindly--no scouting--from his C3 to start crashing it. We had a fleet waiting, because we were watching him. You should have heard our comms go crazy with excitement as our scout watched the Orca randomly start aligning and warp to our hole.....
