Your launcher does not download unless the mouse is quite literally hovering over it.

Seriously, I want to browse things while downloading your huge patches.

What a joke.

Are you completely sure about it. I am currently reading here and my 2 clients are downloading (one is also in a different PC).
I am crossing my fingers to see the patch applied. This is my 2nd try.

The client started after the 2nd attempt with the launcher (both of them).

Downloaded and installed the patch. Everything seemed fine...
After pressing the play button the game starts and tells me: "Connection failed".
Restartet my system. Didnt help. Tried the repair tool. No use. Reinstalled. No success.
Any ideas?

Unfortunately I only came checking the forum after patching failed.

I have to pay $15 per Gigabyte. I downloaded patch once so far. And that will be the only time. I am not going to pay more $15 to have it fail 2 or 3 times more. CCP you fix this. Until then consider me unsubbed.

You cost me $15, giving me essentially nothing but grief, then I don't pay or play for a month.

After 2 downloads of 769mb myself i was going to copy the patch file to my other client install. I found the file EVE_Online_590158-598940_win.patch for today was 1.5gb.

Launcher still terrible, you will not get logs, find the problem yourself, unless you want to pay $200 consulting fee. Give the patch for manual update plz now thanks.

Proof launcher is still terrible, shelf it until fixed, k thanks.

Had the same issue, started the launcher a zillion times, the only way it worked was by:

1) Run the launcher as normal, get the patch file name above the process bar and find the actual file on you pc while its downloading / patching (file probably called “EVE_Online_590158-598940_win.patch” under your EVE program folder).

2) Don’t do anything just yet, wait until it hangs at patching 100% and close your launcher.

3) Delete the patch file, in my case “EVE_Online_590158-598940_win.patch” or whatever it’s called.

4) Run your launcher again and repeat steps 1 – 4.

It seems the download file stops then starts to patch with an incomplete file. Doing 1 - 4 the launcher will at least patch what’s been downloaded, then only downloads the rest of the file (only what’s needed).

Just noticed my Epithal has cargo rigs fitted, does nothing for the planetary commodities cargo hold size only the main cargo which is so small now its taking the mick.

Are we going to get the price of said rigs reimbursed or will you at least strip them off and put them in hanger for us ( bet same goes for other "new" industry ships players have ( have you even thought about this?? )

you should try reading the whole forum where people are saying that the repair tool isn't working right either and quitting halfway through before you give such astute advice.

This gets even better. After several failed attempts at running as admin, using repair, downloading the patch again, etc; I just uninstalled the client. Now the idea was to just download all 18 gigs again and be done with it. (note this is not a cheap option because I also have download limits) Now the setup launcher stops a few seconds after accepting the TOS. Apparently CCP doesn't want people to have software.

deleting the files worked for me perfect, many thanks.

note i also had a smaller filer circa 200 MB from a failed d/l so I just deleted that as well.

Issue with the Tayra (PC, Windows 7 64-bit):

When warping with the tracking camera active, the Tayra ship model does not stay in position relative to where the on-screen tracking position is set. For example, if I jump through a gate and immediately warp to the next gate on my route, the tracking camera pans to the next gate (say ~70 degrees to the right), but my view of the ship doesn't sync with the tracking camera until several seconds have passed. Initially, the ship moves completely off the screen to the left, and then slowly moves to the right during the warp, eventually settling at the on-screen position I have set relative to the the tracking camera position.

I tested a few other ships (Thrasher, Raven, Thorax) on two different accounts, and problem only seems to apply to the Tayra.

Not a big deal, but obviously not working as intended.

I think the issues with the launcher may be client end. I didn't have a problem with the installation of the new patch. The only issues that I did run into was that after downloading, it didn't want to apply at first. So I closed my launcher and reopened it, and it worked just fine. Eve is running just fine, and everything is gravy. Except for the occasional issues that I have with graphics, but I suspect that this issue is on my end.

I would also like to point out something that may have been overlooked with the renaming of some of the indy ships. The Viator is the T2 version of the newly named Nereus, yet if you look in the description tab, it says that it's an Iteron Class hull. Not exactly an issue; just a small little something that I noticed. Though, it has occured to me that it was left that way intentionally for some reason. Perhaps as a monument of some sort dictating that the new ships are all "Iteron Class", though they are no longer "Iterons"?

Exporting the 1.1 client patch via launcher fails. Instead of a ~800MB file it only writes about 15 MB.

Repair.exe seems broken after update. Stopped at some point with an error, although game works just fine.

Edit: Oh, and could you PLEASE fix, that the launcher looses all account information every patch?

Remove standings and insurance.
