As others have posted, Downloaded patch via launcher and got stuck on 3/4.

I restarted the launcher, it redownloaded and now 3/4 seems to be going through.

If it doesn't i'll switch to the repair tool.

here's what do the job for me ...

- download the 764mb patch files from:
http://content.eveonline.com/598940/EVE_Online_590158-598940_win.zip (yes, u can use IDM Big smile )
- extract to game folder
- dont forget to delete the almost identical name ( i think it has .download in it)
- start launcher, after it reach 50%, it will download the 751MB part.
- after the download finished ( u can see the patch file becomes 1,5gb). it will apply patch.
- smooth as silk to 100%


I cant say that my method is 100% bulletproof, but that's what work for me who uses limited bandwith and 3g quota.

i dont understand, surely this means your downloading twice as much????

is there a way i can download this without using my eve pc? - ie just get the patch.

i use my eve pc via a mobile phone contract, and i want to ask a friend to get the patch for me,

can i do this?

You could have your friend just install the EVE client and patch it up, then copy the whole thing to an external hard drive. The client itself doesn't need you to log in to patch via the loader, and it may be useful to have it installed on your friends computer anyway.

I put a patch right on her snatch and told her I was a good catch...

Everyone is always repeating the mantra "Don't Trust Anyone" ad nauseum... If I can't trust the guys I play with, why bother playing with them at all? Fly Solo...
