Is there any real use for this ship now?... I mean whos just going to fly ammo around in a defenceless ship? Or am i missing something?

Im not an industrial... so this may have changed...

You can move more of certain materials made as ammo than in theyre raw form. You then reprocess the ammo.

AMMO is used very commonly to compress minerals for transport.

So the new hoarder, using ammo compression, can move a fairly decent amount of minerals around.

Not to mention that ships can be placed in ship maintenance bays full of ammo.

2 or 3 hoarders full of ammo in an ORCA SMB will really add to the amount of minerals that ORCA can hold. many did this before with iity 5's and mammoths full of ammo, now the hoarder is even better suited for that.

Or what about using a carrier with a SMB full of hoarders loaded with ammo. That is a decent amount of minerals you can haul with a carrier, if you do not have/want a jump freighter.

Think outside the box, these new industrial roles can have many uses.

I just wish we had gotten a blockade runner with a large fuel bay for running logistics for bl-ops fleets. Like a T1 indy, with a huge fuel bay, that can use bl-ops jump portals.
