These shenanigans have been going on since the beginning of online gaming. There have been many TS and Vent operas sung, for many different reasons, and all to the great amusement of the unwashed masses. The number one reason for it? Pixel greed. If you've never been invited to a Vent server and asked "Want to sing for your stuff?" you aren't gaming Lol Most people politely decline and sometimes you get wonderful ragequit clips. Those precious, rare gems are the ones who value their pixel wealth above all.

Online gaming is competition. Be it Eve or Hello Kitty, you're playing against the rest of the server in some aspect. This poor sap thought he was going to get a leg up on the competition, was willing to trade what little bit of self respect he had for that advantage, and got taken to the cleaners.

You can't cheat an honest man.

OP. The guy suffered an embarassment and a waste of time. That's it. He's probably over it already. You're not doing him any favours by bringing it up and linking it in front of a whole new group of people all over again. You're also blowing it up to be a much bigger embarassment than it is, which makes the poor guy look worse for having fallen for the prank.

We don't run over hookers in real life either, doesn't stop us from doing it in GTA.
