Tier 3 bc, what's the market going to be like?

So one of the big features of the coming expansion is the release of the new bc. Looking at things, it appears fairly obvious that the primary use of these ships will be for pvp dps with almost no application to pve. I have the personal feeling that these will be bigger than the noctis was, so there's likely going to be a huge pull on mins of all sorts. But I do have a bunch of questions which I thought would be best put forth in its own threads.

So where's the demand going to be for these ships? In other words, where are good spots to sell these ships? Second, what sort of mods go well with them? Obviously, bs-class weapons and some sort of buffer tank, but will there be a need for EW or RR?

Finally, will demand for these ships trigger (or perhaps create via blowing up) demand for any other ships?

Demand is going to be huge.

The only modules that will be affected will be T2 large guns (and torps, if they unnerf the naga). The rest of the modules are the same as the current BCs use. Maybe some other battleship-sized mods will suffer, but I doubt it. I don't see Tier 3s replacing battleship fleets.

The effects on the mineral market will be more interesting. There's bound to be a huge demand for these ships for the first weeks. Which will create a spike in mineral demand. Which minerals are going to be most affected?

The ratios for mineral use are the same as the tier 2 BCs according to the Sisi dumps. This means, for instance, that they barely use Nocxium (the tornado and oracle don't use it at all). Beyond that, I'm not sure.

What happens in lowsec, stays in lowsec, lowering the barrier to entry to lowsec PVP: https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=476644&#post476644

How about the matter of location? Where would the industrialist get the best bang for the buck?

I think there will be a shortage of supply the first 2 weeks.

I dont know about the prices, specially since highly unlikely any one is going to try to pull any kind of manipulation anytime first 3 months.

My wild guess:

I think you should look at the Noctis market as a model, but highly accelerated.
What I mean by that is the first few days ship prices will be insane, but crash much faster than the Noctis.

1. Noctis had a much higher barrier to entry, given the BPO's were only available at ORE stations in 0.0. These BPO's will be available in high sec, as far as I can see, so EVERYONE will have them day one. That means prices will approach to whatever the stable level will be much faster.

2. As stated by others, likely a surge in key minerals pre-release, as builders stock up so they can build from an unresearched BPO on day one, while researching duplicates at the same time. These minerals prices will move towards their new stable norm at roughly the same rate as the Tier 3 BC's find their stable price. Keep in mind, pilots still only fly one ship at a time, so if they do indeed replace BS's with these Tier 3 BC's, the minerals used in BS's won't be used reducing demand in those areas.

3. Demand will be heavy at first for the new shiny, but like with all new shinies, the novelty will wear off and demand will lessen. However, unlike the Noctis, many more of these will be blown up at the beginning, and as stated in point 2, many less will be used/blown up soon after day one, leading to reduced demand/stable prices quickly.

But who knows for sure. The Goons may declare war against all of high sec using these new suicide gank boats, and turn the whole economy on its head.

Really, I should just shut up, and gamble one way or another, and see what happens.

I am buying hulks and Tritium. I also have a stockpile of 425s when people realize that the hurricane is still king.
