Have logistics drones ever made a difference?

When I was dual boxing NM's I would put out 5 x T2 mediums onto each of the ships and never have to run the booster. You can fit 5 mediums and 5 hobs into the drone bay.

Running an Incursion Scimitar (Logistics V) with the T2 Drone Repair Augmentor rig (and T2 rep drones) is (almost) equivalent of another large shield transfer. When I ran Incursions I used my rep drones on my fellow logis while keeping transfers pointed at the DPS. YMMV but it worked quite well for me.

And please don't flame me and tell me you can't fit a Drone Repair Augmentor II on a Scimitar. EFT warrior it up with Logi V...you might be surprised.
