Today when i woke up, i decided to do a little can flipping on EvE Online, so i walked over to the computer and turned it on.
While it loaded i got myself a coffee and came back and sat down, perfect timing! the computer was fully loaded, so i opened up eve and loged in.
I waited for the station enviroment to load then i spent couple second admiring my brand new shiny rupture then i opened up the fittings menu to make sure it was fitted correctly for the job.
It seemed fine so i clicked the undock button to undock when i fully undocked i warped to the first belt on the list, i was excited and hoped there would be someone mining.
i finished warp and there was a couple rats i quickly locked them up and started shooting them, once they were both dead i opend my wallet to check if i was 32k richer..... the money hasnt gone in yet. So i continued to the next belt, it had no rats or miners, then i warped to the next belt, still no rats or miners, so i warped to the next belt and ther was a Hulk mining! but it wasnt can mining so i couldnt do nothing to it, then i continued to the next belt, still empty. Then i warped to the last belt on the list and there was another Hulk! and it was can mining!!! so i started aproching the can 34km away, my heart was beating hard in my chest wich made me feel woosy so i got up and layed down in bed for a bit. i got up again about 15 minutes later, the hulk was still there mining! and i was right next the the can, so i moved as much as i could into my cargo hold and jetisoned it and moved all the ore from his can into my can, he let his drones out and started attacking me so at the same time i reacted and shot at him back it was sooo exciting he was going through shield sorta slowly he must of had a good tank, then i ran out of shields and relised he would kill me if i didnt warp out so i clicked warp to station but i couldnt warp then i noticed he was warp scramming me i started flying away from him but couldnt get away in time. so as i started going into hull i just felt my heart drop in my chest. Then BOOM my ship exploded i warped out and back to station and docked, i had a great time shooting that hulk but i gues i wasnt good enough to take on something that hard yet. maby ill do some more lvl 3 missions so i can buy another rupture

If your PC takes the same time to load as it does to make a coffee - I am assuming you wont be uploading 1080p High Quality Eve Online video footage of this incident as it unfolded?

I sent you 4 million ISK so you can get another Rupture and take another swing at a Hulk. Enjoy. Smile

I wrote some true EVE stories! And no, they're not of the generic "my 0.0 alliance had lots of 0.0 fleets and took a lot of 0.0 space" sort. Check them out here:

My SATA controllers take about 90 seconds to get through their startup. I reboot about once a month so I don't care enough to mess with it.

I was thinking 2-3 minutes to make a coffee - i.e stroll at a leisurely pace to the kitchen - fill up the kettle - scratch your arse while the water is boiling etc - again the time it takes will also be subject to how much water you put in the kettle - a full load will of course take longer.
