It's not a sleeper AI.

It's the mind of her mentor and lover, Falek Grange. The real one, before his death and unfortunate smelting cloning accident in The Empyrean Age (first book). Falek did some magic fancy stuff and put his mind into her mind, because I guess they were lovers or some ****, but the TonyG the author changed his mind and made it so the Supervillian Space Gods who even the Jove are afraid of (or something) hijacked her cloning procedure and blah blah blah.

It's not a Sleeper AI. It's bad writing.

Also, the Sleeper things stuck in the DUST soldiers' heads are not AIs. They are the actual Sleepers themselves. Sleepers are comparable to humans in The Matrix, except the Sleepers built their very own Matrix and voluntarily plugged their entire society into it. The first DUST soldiers were made using the brain implants taken from living Sleepers, thus hijacking those Sleepers and enslaving them.

How horrible it must be to live in luxury and have thousands of servants/slaves attending to your every whim.

OH THE SHAME! It's so painful being worshiped and glorified by trillions of people and all of my furniture is made out of Gold so the shininess hurts me eyes!

It must be so hard being an Empress.

Watch_ Fred Fred Frederation_ and stop cryptozoologist! Fight against the brutal genocide of fictional creatures across New Eden! Is that a metaphor? Probably not, but the fru-fru- people will sure love it!

I have never felt bad for a fictional character. Right up until the day Chewbacca died.

That's the day fiction became a little too real for me Sad

Pretty sure she doesn't deserve much happiness - not since her ritual suicide after her loss in the succession trials at least.

Perhaps all else is punishment from god for tainting herself with cloned flesh... or perhaps the reason cloning is forbidden to Amarr nobility is precisely the situation we have now.
