Ati hd7770 fps drop to 1 after 1 - 2 min afk after 5 minutes then freezes

Hi guys, I've been reading a lot about Ati and crashes but my problem only happens if I leave eve running with no interaction from me. If I mine and just watch the game after a few minutes the fps drop from 60 down to 1, if I wiggle the mouse it seems to wake up and go back 60 again . If I leave it and not intervene after about 5min it just freezes and then I'll have to close the programme and restart. But if I'm flying around being busy then it's not a problem. Anyone else have time problem?

Windows 8 64bit
4 gib ddr3 ram
64gb ssd install on
Intel duo core 8200
ati7770

It's the ATI driver I've just installed it and Windows 8's one is giving me a problem %-)
