How long you tried EVE before subscribing?

I just recalled that I subscribed after trying the game for 3 days (the fourth day after installing it).

That was some average falling-in-love for me, as I tend to like or dislike games quite fast.

But, how about other players?

How was your entry to EVE? Did you tried it once? Tried it several times? How long it took before knowing "it was it" and pay for it?

I had a break after my trial ran out because of RL stuff. But as soon as I could I subbed.

Now, more than ever, we need a dislike button.

Towards the end of the first trial week, I think. Maybe 5–6 days.

I played the game sometime around 2004 for the trial and then in 2006 I returned, possibly prompted by a few friends that asked me to join their corp with this current character and have been sticking around ever since. So didn't instantly fall in love with the game, but eventually.

I was studying between jobs and on student benefits when I first got the trial. I was doing some research on how different kinds of planets might be categorised, and came across a page on PI, which eventually lead to to the EVE homepage where I stumbled across the ship viewer. I think I went into the trial knowing a lot about the game already and expecting I would subscribe the moment I got paid next, because I was incredibly broke at the time Lol

Anyway, I think three days went by before I subbed, can't remember exactly though.

Third day. Second account on the fourth day of the trial.

But I did invest a lot of time in resarch, before I started playing EvE.

Remove standings and insurance.

I think I read some articles, then the book and started a trial within a week of so. Subscribed after a couple of weeks away, couldn't wait!

Trials were only 3 days long back in the good old days, so I had no choice but to subscribe after a few days.

Subscriber since 2003 beta and proud. I loved this game since the moment I played it. I still have the original box from a store whig I subbed my first second account with.

Custom ship skins, character creator style "repaint". Bring it!

I can't even remember if there even was such thing as a trial back when I started... So I suppose I subscribed from the start... Probably the best 65 euro's I've ever spent Lol
