I do really believe CCP thinks CQ will attract many more players.

some of the biggest sellers in game terms are sims (n1 in chart sales since forever, everyone of them...)

, and second life (though this one is free)

the thing is CCP are being greedy and doing it on the cheap and with a skeleton crew, right now my avatar in CQ moves like a robot.

they also believe the core base of the game is totally faitfull and will wait wathever it takes while they fill their pockets.

they also have the chinese servers dont forget....... probably worth more money to ccp than the west servers,

oriental people are fanatical about games, they still play starcraft 1 online and warcraft 3 online, hardcore 24-7.

they have made many gambles...... i woulnt be surprised if dust 514 does much better in oriental markets than in us/ europe.

we keep forgetting eve is only half western, we think is an us/european game... is not.

and chinese are not as poor as we used to think, the middle class is hundreds of millions, they can afford it now.

also as i said before CCP advertises very heavily all around the world, their trailers are just flawless........you got to admit that.

is only after months and months you start to see that not everthing that shines is mercoxit

as you can see you cant say anything wrong about eve without being flamed , insulted and demeaned.

That work both ways. Excellent redundant statement there

It's clear that CCP allocated all their resources for dust and vampires since 2 years, completely neglecting eve

That is not a true statement

It's also clear that both will be failures

Wild speculation adds gravity to your assessment on the health of Eve?

A FPS has a lifetime of 6 months at most and vampires are a niche in an ocean of identical MMOs

Not strictly true if the FPS is a good muti-player title. I know a few console players that have been playing the same game for far more than 6 months. If Dust manages to couple the Eve player base with a strong stand-alone game, it has high potential

My bit of wild speculation would suggest that WoD will be CCP’s new cash cow as this niche market has a far greater interest base than Eve. This healthy revenue allows the resources to be spent on the first born properly. Patience, as always, is a virtue

Ask yourself the right questions CCP.

I would suggest they have, we just don’t like the current answers, although I would have to agree some have been somewhat poor responses
