I have been using fixed window mode for eve, with 1280*968 resolution (17" LCD), so no top bar and only a few pixels from the monitor screen bottom.
Once i went to a bigger monitor a whole load of crap started. Max resolution now is 1680*1050, and as usual eve doesn't let me set anything close to 1680*1040 so i could get almost full screen with task-bar visible and no window bar.

Fixed window mode only lets me use 1600*900 or 1680*1050 (and full screen isn't an option).
Windowed mode has to be run at 1600*900 and then maximized on each run so it fits to the screen at 1680*988.
Annoying really to re-size or maximize eve on every launch, is there any way to set a custom resolution and add it to Eve for a fixed window mode?
Or to make it run maximized in window mode without manually doing it every time. Setting the eve.exe properties to run at maximized on each run didnt help. Damned WoW had a maximizer proggy that did this on every run.

Any ideas?

Well, making a reply to myself like an idiot but still, found a solution to add a custom resolution to the drivers and by extension to eve.

Radeon Custom Res Manager

Wanted a quick and easy way to add a custom resolution to get Eve without title-bar and all the way down to task-bar, fixed window only gave me 1600*900 or full screen. With this proggy i added, effortlessly i might say, 1680*1011 resolution. Restarted the PC and done. Same thing with removal, run the proggy and choose the resolution to remove, reboot and done.
