Looking for something that can tank 8/10's at the very least.

I understand Sansha 9/10's and 10/10's are pretty much impossible solo.

So 95% em/therm ship with enough dps to not take all day.

1st thing that comes to mind is a heavily tanked Abaddon or possibly a T3

Budget is 700m max.

Using a standard dual t2 MAR ishtar atm with imperial navy hardners with 78% em 86% therm which isn't too bad but im sure there is something better out there.

They are all soloable in an expensive setup, but a Dominix can do them to a good extent in the MJD setup.

8/10 (hub escalation): Nothing excessive here, use range as your primary tank and hardeners against EM because sansha missiles deal that and are the only things hitting you at 100km. When you enter rooms, point away from rats and pulse MJD.

9/10 (forsaken hub escalation): This chain takes you 20 jumps out and is generally not worth the trouble unless you feel like exploring. Nothing hurts you at 100km ranges, so the neut towers are not very scary. The only spot of bother is the boss tower which shoots a 40000 EM damage torpedo; use 2 EM hardeners to survive it and orbit sentries to speed tank it. Overheat the hardeners upon entering room because the first torpedo hits before you gain speed tank.

10/10 (haven/sanctum escalation): Cakewaltz until last room in MJD setup Dominix, harden against the EM missiles as usual. Last room is a ***** with the boss shooting an omni damage blast (em heavy). For this room I would do some playtesting to see if a 3 damage mod tanked MJD dominix could solo it, but I guess you want a friend to break the station and tank the blasts after you have cleared there with the following standard setup:


Dominix, escalation:

4x drone link augmentor
1x cloak
1x small tractor

3x Omnidirectional tracking link II
1x MJD
1x Sensor booster (range)

4x Drone damage amplifier II
2x EM hardener
1x Large armor rep II

2x auxiliary nano pump
1x CCC

Would a Navy Dominix be worth the extra isk if i was say to Imperial Navy tank it.

8/10's with ease would be my goal just find the last room abit hard at the start with some many webs and frigates so MJD may well be the answer.

Have Gallente BS 5 t2 sentries etc just need to work out a fit now, thanks

For 9.10 i knew a cruiser sized hull wasn't gonna work simply because of the smartbombs
