Can we play on the test sever without a paid subscription? In other words be able to play on the test sever for free while our account is not "paid" for?

No. You need an active account to be able to access Sisi.

To reiterate, your account must be active at the time of the mirror.
If you account gets deactivated an hour after the mirror is done, you'll still be able to login for that mirror on singularity

So I would only be able to play until the next mirror happens? What is a mirror exactly and Sisi? Sorry I'm new to the test sever. I appreciate your responses!

Yes, you have to play till the next mirror happens, when that happens can only be guessed at.

A mirror is when the Tranquility is copied, all the currently active accounts with the account's current skills and items. Only those with an active account at that time are able to play Sisi = Singularity(?).

Edit: Another thing. If you join events in Sisi from start to finish, you get 2mil SP and that will carry over to the next mirror, for a total of 10mil SP.

If your account was active on tranquility on june 10th, then you can login to singularity yes. If not you can ask CCP in this forum section to have your account reactivated on singularity.

Basically every so often CCP takes a copy (mirror) of everything on tranquility. They may put the mirror on singularity an hour, a day or even a week after taking it. So if your account is active when CCP takes the mirror of tranquility, you'll be able to login to singularity for however long until they put a new mirror on Singularity, even if your account is inactive on tranquility.

Thank you so much! That makes much more sense now. One last question with regards to the accounts being copied over, will my account be exactly identical then? Or do you get lots of isk or skill points to mess around with and to "test" with?

It'll be identical. Just that everything on the market is stocked and cost like...100 Isk. The server is really for testing new features and to allow players to try out things they always wanted to.

When they mirror your account you get the exact same thing from the time they made the mirror. So if you dont login and put skills to train on singularity, you'll have the skills from the day of the mirror for however long until they remirror, or you put something in the queue. This is why I usually put a set of +5's at the beginning of every mirror, and train lots of skills on singularity aside from my TQ training.

As for free SP, you get 2mil free SP from masstests. Keep an eye on the forums for masstest posts from CCP Haba or you can also open the "masstesting" channel ingame on singularity, theres info updated there when MT's are planned.

As for isk, you'll have what you have on your account. Everything costs 100 isk on the test server, but if your still lacking isk, buy a dread, carrier, rorqual, freighter, orca or even any subcap for 100 isk, and self destruct it, you'll make isk off the insurance. Once you get enough, you can buy platinum insurance for your ships, and then make more off the insurance.... A.K.A Insurance Fraud.

I just got this account reactivated today. I haven't played in over a year at least so I barely remember much. I saw this post here about account reactivation on singularity. My account wouldn't of been active during the last mirror so if the dev reactivates it from there would I be able to play on the test sever?

Yes, but there are rumours of a mirror coming up in the next week or so... So keep that in mind.

Where are these rumours, since the Devs posted it wouldn't be until Oct or Nov?

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.
