If you are going to buy plex on the acc management you might just pay and upgrade your account don't you think? It's basicly the same thing.

What Mirel means that you can buy a plex "ingame" with isks or get a friend to offer you one to upgrade it.

The point of plex is pay your monthly access with isks. Buying it on the Acc is means that you pay real money to keep playing, or that you buy that plex with real money to sell it for isks legaly ingame.

Simple as that.

If you want to buy GTC/PLEX out of game, you have to get them (for RL iskies) from either the CCP Games store, or GTC sellers like Battleclinic or Shattered Crystal
