Expect a small downtime tomorrow between 12:00 and 16:00 (UTC) of about five minutes. That's not an update, this is just some router changes the hoster needs to do.

Version 0.10 will probably be released with Odyssey 1.1. Early birds can read the (likely to change) changelog here.

This is fantastic!

I've one problem, when I run it on my Galaxy S4, the search list will always be underneath the fitting slots, so I can't see what the search results are. I'm guessing it's a resolution vs DPI problem or something?

Version 0.10.0 released!

Please report any bugs, there will surely be some considering the enormous list of changes.

Thumbs up for this amazing tool and its updates. I require all of my members to use it for our fleet doctrines and testing fits. Simple, no download needed, and accurate.

Quick announcement for anyone running an Osmium instance: I strongly urge you to merge the latest v0.10.0-hotfixes branch as soon as possible, I just fixed a serious security issue. The bug allowed anyone to access any file on your filesystem readable by your web server.

EDIT: also, expect a downtime shortly after the Rubicon patch, for obvious reasons.

Really great work there!

I have one comment though to make. I find a bit unnatural to "operate" the fitting from right to left.
What I mean is, we first need to select ships/modules on the right, drag to the middle, and watch the result on the left. Most of us measly terran mortals, beside a few exceptions, usually read from left to right, maybe it is something you might want to take into account in future UI tweakings Smile

Apart from that, works wonderfully!

cheers,
Claire

Pyfa gives an incorrect figure, this is a known issue. See the Pyfa forum post.

EFT doesn't show the Gallente Battleship skill affecting the gun, so its figure for falloff is probably incorrect.

The Osmium figure is definitely accurate (18.8 km, rounded in the tooltip). You can see all the affectors are correctly there, and here's a screenshot of the fitting on TQ.

Discovered Osmium. It is wonderful. But I have a question. Is it possible to make that all parameters of fit were calculated using the character of api-key by DEFAUL? Not the All 5. Thank you if you help me.

Hi everyone,

Expect a small downtime tomorrow shortly after the patch goes live.

A preliminary list of changes can be seen on the staging changelog:

Can't see what the hull bonus is when you check ship info anymore. <- Very annoying

Also, the new scroll bar when doing the fitting is kind of in the way of the button on the items in the search/browse area (though this did force me to discover that right clicking will open the same menu).

I really like this resource by the way, great work.

Not my fault sadly. Let's hope it gets fixed soon.

Hey everyone,

I've been working on making Osmium a rudimentary database browser, here are the results so far:

Any feedback welcome, thanks!

The 4th picture looks kinda empty and hard to read because of the large gap between effect and type. I think it would be a lot more useable if you wouldnt spread it on the whole screen.

How about you display all 4 pages on the same page?

Aside from that it looks great.
