I have a tattoo on my right-arm that doesn't appear to display anymore. Can someone please fix me too! Big smile

This was quite a bit of work, so I'm not going to do the right side just yet, but if you are missing a tattoo and care enough that you have come to this thread, please post here (or evemail me) and I'll happily fix it for you Smile

Edit: since I was at it anyway I just went ahead and did the same for the right sleeve, so now all characters that have tattoos should have portraits with those tattoos Smile


I wasn't affected, but kudos to you for sticking around on a weekend so you can fix other people's fictional characters in an MMO.

Also, when can I haz body tattoos? P

Is there ETA for new tattoos in the game?

P. S. I remember fun bug with disappearing Quafe t-shirt was fixed in just few hours...

I have double Nature tattoos on and when the portrait uploaded they weren't appearing.

I think I know how to bypass this error: relog after customization instead of waiting for picture to update. If I do not relog / logout then re-customized portrait does not show tattoos after update.

edit: full sequence:

1) re-customize;
2) logout;
3) wait for image to update (can check it on forum avatar) <= I think this is optional step but nonetheless...
4) login back to game and wait for in-game cache to renew.

well... there is really nothing you can do to prevent this from happening.

The thing is that sometimes our rendering process fails to load up the tattoos in time and the portrait is snapped before it's visible and therefore you'll be missing the tattoo on the server rendered image.

Each time you recustomize, there is an hour delay until you will be rendered again by the server. Until then, you will see a local copy of your portrait, which was snapped when you were recustomizing. All other players see your old portrait during that time. When the server has finished rerendering you, the local copy is replaced by the server rendered portrait (or should be). That's why you sometimes see your character with tattoos in the character selection screen and then suddenly the tattoo is gone.

You might somehow be able to bypass that the local copy is replaced by the server version of the portrait, but all other characters will still see you as the server rendered you.

I'm getting this error as well.
I put my tattoo on last night, and it worked for a bit, but now the only way I can get it to display is by clicking the portarait and then clicking the full-body option.

Could you re-render my character as well, please?

I'll take another pass at fixing everyone after we deploy the fix on Tuesday Smile
(but until then, feel free to ask for a re-render if your character is missing its tattoo)
