Greetings, MD!

I have a predicament. I have some very specific information which has not been released yet. This piece of information is probably the central thing that will be remembered about this expansion (hint: it's not the tier 3 BCs or SC nerf). Much like Incarna will be remembered for NeX and Incursions was remembered for, well, Incursions. This information will be out soon; I predict there will be a dev blog in two weeks about it and the mass speculation will begin.

I have liquidated my assets and spent about 8 billion slow buying so I don't upset the market or tip my hand. I have spread out the buying through alts and regions. I've done this for the last week and a half. The prices have remained completely stable with this. However, i know there is much more money to be made on this. I've personally reached my hard limit on how much I can put into this.

How should I proceed? I would like to maximize the potential of this windfall. Should I be content with my windfall? Should I try to maximize profit by selling this information? Should I open a bond? I'm really new to working with others on things, but I realize in order to realize the potential of this that I must coordinate.

Before the obvious questions get asked, this is an industrial alt for my main traders. Thanks in advance.

Inb4 someone begs for the information and the OP drags his feet then gives the information and some fool ends up buying expensive items that the OP has repriced at a 300% margin throughout various alts over various markets.

I know exactly what you are talking about and well, I to have bin buying up the same exact thing, as a matter of fact I have told ALL of my friends and they baught some to, so when the price of this item goes up (doubles), well good luck =)

While this may look like insider information, the method it was obtained did not involve the CSM. This was no fiduciary malfeasance involved with CCP either. This was simply an error by CCP accidentally releasing information to a very limited group.

This information isn't yet available on SiSi and that's not where it was obtained. I can also assure you that it is has much larger implications than anything on SiSi currently.

I was hoping for an idea on how to maximize the potential of this.

If you want more liquidity, simply have an alt open a bond with 100% collateral in the item you are buying up.

Then uses the additional sums to buy more, etc as long as you can.

This, pretty much. I've had more than a few eve mails over this and a few of them suggested this. I've taken this route and additionally cut a in two partners. Thanks all for the replies. My apologies to those I didn't respond to (except the obvious scam attempts).

On another note, next time I come to MD, I'll be sure to buy up all the tinfoil before posting.
