Hilarious and amusing discovery...

I was flying in Rens a few minutes ago, testing out a new soundcard, and I discovered something very amusing.

The remote control that ships with Creative's SoundBlaster X-Fi USB card treats EVE as though it's a DVD. It won't fly your ship (you can't change the speed or target anything), but the 'menu' button will open EVE's settings window, the up and down arrows (and the OK button) will navigate the cargo-bay (and the market, to a certain extent), and the 'Power' button acts as a toggle to zoom the camera in on whatever you currently have targeted.

I can't get rid of my darn signature!  Oh, wait....

Which is it? Hilarious or amusing? I feel as though they're mutually exclusive.

Personally, I find it amusing.

If anyone ever looks at you and says,_ "Hold my beer, watch this,"_  you're probably going to want to pay attention.

the correct sound blaster cards (the actual gaming ones) still do give some performance improvement, but more importantly - you get a lot higher quality sound than with those build in systems.

Tedium and difficulty are not the same thing, if you don't realize this then STFU about game design.

Nah, I'm going to re-wire it to a sound-board so that I can make 'Boom' and 'phwoosh' noises. You know, like those old sound-makers for cars that had guns and whatnot on them?
