Gamescom has come and gone. Where is the winter expansion announcement?

We want a finished, polished game, not new broken mechanics. CCP may carry on.

Well CCP need to get it right, I mean Make sure that there are no bugs with the Winter Expansion & with ODYSSEY 1.1.

If there is any bugs CCP need to squash them before they get a foothold and cause allot of problems.

People we all know that the Winter Expansion would be released late November or Mid to Late December 2013 or early Jan 2014.

CCP need time to get things right and us players should give CCP time.

If we rush them their would be a lot of Bugs in the Winter Expansion.

And for one I do not like bugs.

So lets give CCP a chance to get it right the first time.

Ponies in space.
Yes, we will now have the ability to fly the all new Ponymobile. It has 8 turret hardpoints, 8 launcher. 9 highslots(it's coming), 24 low slots(you know it's true) 15 mid slots(it's happening) 30 rig slots

I think we just need to be a bit more patient. ;-)

CCP has announced somewhere along the road that they want to deliver the content in smaller, more frequent bits.
So it's imo not appropriate to think of Odyssey 1.1 as merely "a patch" or consider "an expansion" not worth the name because it does not have "enough" new content. They just distribute content differently among the patches.

If you look back, you will realize that at least since Retribution 1.1, we actually get a major content patch not twice, but 4 times a year. Admitted, the 2 "big" expansions are still somewhat bigger and the point releases do not have an own name/theme, but I think this approach is better than the old one - especially when yo consider balancing issues.

So... Soundwave DID announce the definite date for Odyssey 1.1 at Gamescom. That's the next expansion and that's something, isn't it? ;-)
As for the winter expansion: i cannot believe CCP delays this deliberately, because... well... they know this community quite well. :-D
