TiDi will never be used in highsec anyways, so explain to me how it would ruin ''The Game'' (if it even could ruin anything in the first place, I for one think it's a good idea)

Is null sec local chat going to become like W - space or has that been taken off the table for this expansion or altogether.

Dev response Plz

Um no. You remove local without a DIRECT replacement and nullsec will just become even more of a place for big alliances to play.

What the devs did indicate is that they wanted to replace local due to the issues with the current CHAT system and not something to make AFK cloakers and large alliances even more powerful.

Why would it make big alliances more powerful? Seems like it would give players not aligned with a big alliance a better chance at accessing the space without being caught.

Even just making local delayed for 30 seconds..... a minute or two even... would make small gang/solo roams much more enjoyable. Pirate

Because repeatedly mashing DScan adds flavor to this dark and mysterious universe....

90% of of the time my posts are about something I actually find interesting and want to learn more about. Do not be alarmed.

Yes and guess who will employ so many of those roams.

The big alliances against who. The smaller alliances without the ability to have tons of space to know of roams well in advance.

Do NOT remove or delay local. Replace it exactly if you need to work on the chat or make it better.

Doing somthing to local to make it delayed or change it all around would kill alliances biggest money maker. I am not talking about moons. Large fleets already move slow. Take their eyes away and they will move even slower. Most pilots in null sec are already scared to undock with out a fleet around them. Having no local as we see it now would drive the even more bat **** crazy.

I look forward to CCP removing local so the people begging for it can come to the forums and cry for it's return.

"we can't find anyone to fight"

That and when a covert ship warps to a belt, lights a cyno and drops supers on a ratting carrier because you can warp cloaked and light cynos on the same ship.

This is going somewhere, tears will be great.

Confirming none of this is happening now. People don't get hotdropped and people don't safe and cloak or dock when someone's in local.

I don't think you will find many who actually care that nullsec will empty of almost all but large alliances once local is removed. They didn't get that Golem kill they wanted so they want to remove the ability for that golem to react to them.

They can't pad their killboard with many solo kills so they want to change the very face of nullsec to do it. And will indeed come on these forums to cry about people running away from null when it happens.

Tidi will solve the issue of lagploitz in fleet battles. There is NO NEED to remove or delay local to encourage PVP. Because it will have the opposite effect.

CCP said they were developing a revamped intelligence gathering tool to replace local chat. I want to know how that is coming or even if they are continuing to work on that project. Local is broke, it is the most exploited feature in eve for years. If local is not exploited then anchoring sbu’s or tcu’s before downtime should be over locked and seen as part of the game. CCP should return insurance pays back to what they were because high sec gankers should get their money’s worth and is not an exploit. All accounts banned and toons shut off from CCP’s unholy rage should be reinstated because they were not exploiting a feature that was not already part of the game.

I'm just a lowly WH dweller. I have not played much in 0.0 space, other than to cross it.

But, from what I have seen, replacing the system local chat with a constellation local chat makes sense. You won't feel alone (as some have pointed out as a reason for not removing local) as the number of folks in that constellation chat will likely be much larger than the previous system chat. At the same time, is provides far less intel for the locals.

If the goal of null is to be dark, scary, risky and rewarding, I don't see how changing the "local" chat to constellation will fail to improve that.

The lack of local as an intel source makes WH 0.0 much scarier than null

Your dots really bracket your one liner’s very well. Your double space even makes it very easy to read.
