Yeah, I was referring to the guy who claims to solo both parts in a Tengu. The first part is really not that hard. I am sure you can fit a passive tank on the Tengu to do the second part, but if that's not what he's referring to, then he's just sending active tanked Tengus to die. Oh wait, I just reread his post and he is actually suggesting to use an active tanked Tengu. Lol. Don't. This site is significantly harder than its "level". BTW, it always escalates.

A tengu will get beyond the serpentis effective range before it caps out, and then it will coast at the same speed as the frigates, if there were any left, and it can still shoot capped out. I see the poster even explained it. I would do it in an armor ishtar, but said ishtar can't really leave its drones that far behind and expect to keep them, and it has too thin a buffer.

That's weird because I tried this a couple days ago, burning away immediately and it was not the case. I guess I am not willing to sacrifice Tengus on the chance that it might work sometimes (I sacrificed a t1 scanning frig to get aggro and get my tengu out). I'll just continue to do it with a passive fit where there is no chance of an expensive loss.

In the 40 or so of these I've done, it's never not escalated. Take that for what it's worth. Anything's possible I guess, and I have encountered some weirdness.

For example: last night I left a ship in a partially completed Pith's Penal Complex (Guristas 8/10) when downtime hit. On logging back in, that ship was still where it left off (there was a dropped can near it). But the complex was not. I scanned it down with another ship, leaving the original where it lay. I warp to the site with the other ship, but there's no acceleration gate (100% hit, site shows up on solar system map). Weird. So I warp the original ship out and lo and behold the acceleration gate appears for the second scanning ship. And here's the fun part. When I warp my tank in to the actual site, it's as I left it before downtime, none of the rats that were killed had respawned.

Is Serp Logi Outpost the same as Sennen's Tip? And if it escaltes into lowsec rather than null, is the possible lootdrop the same?

Read this thread with interest. I did a Serpentis 6/10 lowsec escalation yesterday. I noticed that you can bypass the gate and enter the 2nd room if you BMed it. Which also means someone who wants to gank you can also bypass the accel gate by simply probing you down. Is this done intentionally by CCP? Or possible bug? I've done 6/10 gurista and you have to go through the accel gates to get to the next room.

High Five. Yeah! C'est La Eve .

It's a bug that has never been fixed for that particular site. Repeatable every time.
