From: CLUMSY ST0NER SMURF
Sent: 2013.08.26 18:32
To: Cindy Yakuza,

Greetings, fellow Capsuleer,

It has come to our attention that you have been using auto pilot without a license. As you are probably aware, auto pilot licenses have been required to use auto pilot since the Pilot Protection Act was signed. The main reason behind this Act was to help prevent the many of the accidents caused from by the use of auto pilot.

We are sorry for the inconvenience caused by the loss of your ship, but when it comes to pilot safety, we found that actions speak louder than words.

If you wish to continue using auto pilot, to you will be required to apply for a 1 year license. The application fee will be determined by the class of the permit you are applying for. The classes are broken down as follows:

----- ----- ----- -----

Class E: Single Member
25 mil

Class D: 10 members or less.
50 mill

Class C: 11 - 25 members.
75 mill

Class B: 26 - 50 members.
100 mill

Class A: 51 - 100 members.
150 mill

Class S: 100+ members.
200 mill

----- ----- ----- -----
it will only protect you from high sec ganking. It will not protect you against wars or low sec roams.

If you wish to apply, send the application fee to Mr Vrix , with the class you are applying for in the description. Your application fee will be processed within 24 hours, and you will receive a confirmation mail when it has been accepted. All questions and comments can be sent to ST0NER SMURF

Y'know what, this is proving to be interesting. I might start hanging around New Order space and selling Licenses to purchase Licenses. Wonder if there's a corp named 'Department of Redundancy Department'.

But yeah, if anything, this is either an:
A) Scam
B) Scam
C) Freakin' GENIOUS!

And CCP won't get involved, as while it's either of the 3, it's legit. Don't autopilot.

Why are you complaining that you got to a station faster than expected?

Also why is this CCP's problem?

I think I am in love with St0ner Smurf.

One of the biggest sources of chaos and carnage in all of EVE. How many Titans worth of damage does he cause a month between those alts?

I support the New Order and CODE. alliance. www.minerbumping.com

I am sure you only ask rhetorically like most other posters here in C&P do, because they too are haunted by their paranoia of what people could think about them if they asked a serious question. So you might as well just accept it and start a serious discussion. See who dares to participate without going stupid...

It is save to say that after 10 years of EVE there have been quite a number of players who have been banned by CCP for various breaches of the EULA. While I doubt many of them will have returned but moved on to some other game to lick their wounds, will some of these players have returned. None of them will hold a grudge against CCP after having lost all their accounts ...

Haha, who am I kidding, I am sure they hold a grudge. The Mittani started "Burn Jita" after he got kicked out of the CSM and after having received a 30 day ban, and I still remember stories about Helicity Boson, who started Hulkageddon, after receiving a ban. Just to name two popular players who had the guts to show their grudge. Bless them! And of course countless are the stories of kids who get anger fits when something about their game back fires. Anyhow, the point is that among all us fine and good EVE players there is also a group of EVE haters to be found. And even when this group of hate players is just very small will it grow just like everything else in and around EVE.

Now, if one would go out and try to find these players what signs would one be looking for?

I hope you find this question as amusing and entertaining as I do. Whatever your answer to the question is is it a problem created by CCP, and only the best and finest EVE players will smile upon it.

I don't understand, you can AFK autopilot in hisec. I see people do it all the time. Maybe the OP doesn't understand the process:

1. Get in shuttle.
2. Set medical clone to destination station.
3. Undock and set AP to destination station.
4. Wait to arrive at destination station.

This method, 100% supported by CCP via game mechanics, will always get you to the destination system. Enjoy!

And this is in fact, on average, the fastest way to get about in Highsec. OP I suggest you cut and paste Malcolm's advice into your Bio.

Indeed, Burn Jita I was announced before mittengate, and was originally a "mittens got re-elected" celebratory gankathon. Helicity got banned for telling a dev to GDIAF.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

Who's saying that AFK Autopiloting is a breach of the EULA?

I remember an audio sample where The Mittani announced his return and how he shall burn Jita. It was quite the fiery speech. He sure had a grudge back then. And Helicity has never made a secret out of her hate for CCP. Both certainly had a connection in how they feel about CCP and what they did in game.
