The problem with the console generation (ie my kids who are teenagers) is they never stick around for any particular game where as the PC gaming community plays games long past their life span. My old military realism gaming clan the 7th cavalry still runs an COD4 server that stays pretty full. For the older generation like myself I detest the consoles.

My 17 year old is coming around and wants me to get him BF4 for his PC since BF3 on my PC kicks the console versions ass in everything from graphics to FPS. I also just got him his own Eve account and he loves the game. PC's are just far better platforms and DUST should have been released for the PC to begin with.

Dust is not dead, eve is dead. Wow has millions of subscribers call of doody has millions of players. jk, hur dur who cares people who like dust will keep playing it. There are few casual dust players.

The next generation ( PS4 and Xbox One ) will have no backwards compatability.

Selling you the same games over and over again, is business as usual in the console industry these days.

If CCP had any aspirations for DUST as a console game, they'd have a PS4 version ready as a launch title. If not, we'll probably see a PC port by next winter.

DUST 514 is getting ported to Nintendo DS and getting a new Mario themed makeover.


So bad it has 3 million more players than dust. Once past a few of it's problems, Warthunder is quite a good game, in FRB mode anyway.

Where the hell are people deriving this "DUST is a failure, DUST is dead" thing anyway?

Yeah, but none of those have the awesme EVE economy and/or equipment interface or fitting options.

The only thing that could compete with that would be Planetside.

Stupidity should be a bannable offense.

My PS3 ain't compatible to m PS2 games.
Now I got the most expensive blue Ray player of that time.

Its not dead , we are also pleased with 1.4 , play it daily , i think the playerbase is even growing again , lots of COD guys are fed up with COD and starded palying dust. Its a nice tactical shooter

edit: btw eve is dead for 10 years already and still dying , now stfu and make some lol treads instead
