Why are so many people in Caldari FW?

Why are there so many people in Caldari FW compared to the other factions? They don't have better pvpers as a general rule (as proven by the killboards). They aren't better organized. So what causes them to have more then two thousand more players then the next closest faction?

But besides that I'm going to say the a growth, stat reading, is showing newer players that "Hey, these guys have 7000 people, I should have much better odds of pew pewing and getting space rich." Everyone wants to join the biggest army because they think they will have a better chance of "Winning". The downfall being that CalMil is far from "Winning".

Yeah pretty sure for those single account players the access to Jita is a HUGE plus. I know when I originally wanted to try FW several years ago that is what I based my decision on

I wouldn't think the different between Jita and Dodixie would account for 2000 extra characters though...perhaps I'm just nuts.

Look at the stats on how many players pve in eve empires. boot up the in game map and select player active in space you'll see caladri space lit up way more than the other empire. vOv

I wouldn't be surpised to find similar levels of people pveing in caladari space v the other empires and the resultant numbers in calmil is just an osmosis effect of that.

Caldari space just has more people residing in it. It follows that the related navy would have more people. Also... didn't the Caldari have the best PvP attributes (for new capsuleers) back in the day? Probably the stigma is still being carried over today.

Back in the day, Caldari started with ~1M SP more than any other race.

2. Print Navy Scorp or navy Raven.
3. Fly to Amarr.
4. Profit.

THIS IS SO UNFAIR WHY DOES CCP HATE GALLENTE SO MUCH WHAT DID WE EVER DO TO INCITE SUCH ABUSE??!!!!!

THE FW MAP WITH THE ICHO HIGH SEC BEING RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE IS SO UNFAIR TOO! AND THE MASSIVE NUMBER OF CALDARI FW AGENTS ONLY 1-2 JUMPS FROM GALLENTE SPACE IS SOOOO ONE-SIDED. AND THE NANO HOOKBILL THAT USES GALLENTE EWAR (DAMPS) BETTER THAN ANY GALLENTE SHIP THIS IS NOT RIGHT! AND WHY DO OUR HIGH SEC SYSTEMS HAVE LOWER SEC STATUS THAN THE EQUIVALENT CALDARI SYSETMS??!!!

I mean, how does the Federation Militia survive these blatant biases?

The numbers need a reset and CCP should remove long term inactive accounts from those numbers.
Or maybe only count people in those figures with kills against enemy militias in the last month or two. (wouldn't be hard for them to do)

The sad reality is-
Caldari has very few proper, active pilots who go and shoot stuff.

I would say 200-300 at best.

The rest of that figure is made up of inactive accounts, sad RPers who never undock and people who have never left high sec but want to pretend they are at war and get their bling mission ships ganked by Loren Gallen.

CCP recently removed inactive's from that list - that's why Caldari is down from 10K

Honestly that's why I and my corp joined Caldari instead of the next option (Minmatar) - access to Jita for our newer bros. It's only about 20 active pilots, but then again that's officially 54 pilots and that bloats the stats. I am sure inactives are a large part. That aside, farmers and non-participants in other means are also a part of the large number.

As to why I feel it's a mixture of many RP/PvE reasons. Most people flew Caldari for PvE purposes up until the recent changes. If I weren't that used to PVP and wanted in I'd go for what I trained into...shields and missiles (Raven/Tengu being the go-to mission ships). Some may also feel the need to stick to their character's birth right, which it would not surprise me that many first-time players in the US would pick Caldari due to the lore of corporate fascism being a fun thing (or maybe that's just me).
