Hello.//..

I read on the evenews that as part of requested changes that CCP is decrease session timer, increased invunerablity and all station increase dock range so no more kicking-out station (undock and die). Where can we see confirmation? I really don't like see such a thing.

Thanks

Decreased session change timer, yes.

Increased invulnerability, No. It is still the same length as it has always been.

This will save some (not all) from station kick out since you only wait 20 instead of 30 sec before you can dock again.

Not empty quoting!

To OP: There is a big fat button in the top bar of this page called "Dev Blogs". Click it once in a while to get the data without the highly suspect interpretation of sites like EveNews ..
The blogs even have a link to the comment thread where the writers more often than not will help clear up any confusion that their at times poor English/communication skills may bring about.

In all honesty, it's not really hard to understand any dev blog. Even if they would all be written by an English proffesor there would be bad people missunderstanding and raging. Partly because they are bad at reading / not understanding the game mechanics and partly because they love to rage about nothing.

I sure wish CCP would make a devblog telling us of these changes ...

Unfortunately this is happening everywhere in highsec, be it legal wardec shields, super obvious brightly coloured contracts with "are you super sure?" popups, recruitment scam changes, numerous changes in aggro mechanics, autopilot changes, the list is ever growing.

I thought this game was supposed to take your cookie and laugh at you?

That's the sort of station where you are not allowed to fornicate in public areas, usualy found in Amarrian regions.

In all seriousness, when you undock, your ship is "pushed" out, you have forward velocity when you undock. All stations in Eve do a bit of a kick these days, some more than others.

In an effort to increase numbers you loose your main customer base which leads to a f2p model after it's sold to another company.....how many times have we seen this now? It's the 4th time I've seen an MMO go this way......

You could always just ctrl+space to avoid kickout without losing your invulnerability, anyway. Straight

What if my passion is blowing up those exact increased numbers?Cool

Seriously, come on. A 10 second invu window during which you can dock is not going to change much anything... except maybe docking games which is one of the dumbest if not the dumbest form... sorry, I mean a pathetic excuse for PvP that has ever existed in this game.

@OP
session change is decreased from 30 to 20 seconds
invu timer will stay the same = 30 seconds
docking ranges are not increased AFAIK, but even if they are Ctrl+SPACE will stop your invulnerable ship anyway.

The devblog explains the reasons pretty good. (if you are using evenews to get your news about what is happening in the game, the devblog entries usually have a link to expand the text and show the link to the original devblog. In the article you've mentioned here it's the "+ New Dev Blog >>" link right below the banner)

I'm not sure when CCP made it impossible to bump people during the undocking session change timer, but when you combine it with the change to a 20-second session duration the result is lameness. tbh Sad
You don't do so much undock bumping in nullsec, but for high sec war decs and griefing it's essential. Oh who am I kidding there won't be as much of that going on either SadSad

Looks like I jumped ship on Empire space just in time.

A kick out station is one that has a very close docking ring, where you very quickly get beyond the area where you can redock the moment your session timer is over.

Some stations, notably certain Minmatar stations, put you outside of docking range almost immediately.

If CCP wants docking games to continue, they will either make the timers (invulnerability and session change) simultaneous... or they will change game mechanics slightly to allow bumping during the invulnerability timer.

If they have decided docking games are stupid and tedious, and wish to eliminate them completely, they will leave things as they are.

I'm not casting an opinion either way at this time.

Yes its goes both ways, you have to stop being lazy when you really want to terrorize those who choose to stay in high sec. Trust me there are plenty of ways to bait them out into the open still just now it requires some cunning guile instead of brain dead button smashing.

Because life in highsec contains many things other than brain dead button mashing.
