This does not belong in Features & Ideas Discussion because this is a public beta brainstorm conference and inb4 Doc Fury.

That said, I would love to see Facebook synced with the EVE UI in-game. Every toon would be required to make a personal Facebook page before being allowed to log back in post update (like we had to make new avatar portraits using the new character modelling system when it came out).

After a fight, instead of chucking out the usual "gf" in local, players could then click floating "thumb-up" or "thumb-down" icons above each ship if they so wish. So if it was a good fight, you would get a "thumb-up", or if it was a gank / blob, you can give a "thumb-down".

Miners could also provide valuable community interaction by tweeting which ores they are mining and how much they are pulling, as I am always really interested in hearing what my corpmates and others are pulling with their current SP. This content can then be shared with the rest of the community on a region-wide basis via a new "Twitter Local" window. Examples of such content would be:

"Pullin in 7k trit per cycle with Mining Barge 4!"
"Rockin a venture in a large omber site in losec!"
"Minin down a mercoxit rock with deep core mining only at lvl 1. Ridin the dmg cloud, YOLO!"

This would enhance the player experience and provide communication between miners and the rest of the community.

You would also be able to be "in a relationship" with another player.

Perhaps there could be a new skillbook that allows you more access to the Facebook API features as you train up!

CCP could also gain more revenue by allowing ads in a new, non-minimizable ad window. And instead of a criminal countdown timer, players could opt in the options to instead have to watch a 30-second fullscreen ad.

Would be happy to hear more suggestions.

Solstice I normally enjoy the "thrust" of your "argument"; I might even welcome a little roughing of my "ship", but this time I think you're taking the OP far too serious.

There is an app that can feed your every kill, comment in local to your wall.

I myself have riged it so Pidgin pings get posted on my wall. So my friends can come and join me.

I have Facebook.
I use Facebook.
I don't want to use it with EVE or anything else people give me Facebook buttons for.
Seriously, even porn streaming sites have social media sharing buttons... WTF is up with that?
