But seriously, that scam is older than I am (In RL) sorry if you were the one that fell for it, but really - it's like telling me that rain is wet or that the sun is hot or indeed that Goons scam.

A newbie logs on every day. One got caught. I think he will rage quit. I wouldn't blame him.
Worst part is that it was a similar name to a friend of a friend of his. So he asks his friend, "Is this legit?" "Yeah, that is my friend"

There was lots of drama. Sad

Edit: Before you say, "Newbies don't have that much ISK" - he converted game times and he bought a pilot then wanted to buy a ship for it. So in a very short space of time, he has paid with real money for the subscription, the pilot and the ship.

Just an idea , but maybe it's worth posting this in the newbie forum - but with an explanation this time. Might stop it happening to a newbie again.
