Need advice on Standings grinding.

Hello all. I have just messed up my standings with Caldari State and want to repair them back to where they where. I did this years ago and now just getitng back into it.

Now I have VERY limited combat skills and I have been reading that distribution missions are faster to do to get story line missions than combat missions. This is understandable however I have a question regarding them.

Does it matter if I do level 1 distribution missions to get a story line faster? Or should I do level 4 distribution missions because the resulting Storyline mission grants more Faction Standing?

I am just a bit confused about it. I can do level 4's with Lai Dai and will be able to do level 5's shortly (within a few days I would say). Would I be better off going with the level 4 missions and hauling bigger loads over the others? If you can assist it would be super (also have access to R&D agents so will be using them too).

I guess I am almost a 'vet' by now. Hopefully not too bitter and managing to help more than I hinder. I build and sell many things, including large collections of bookmarks.

Lvl1 distribution missions get you lvl1 storylines. Lvl4 distribution missions get you lvl4 storylines. Lvl4 storylines get you faction standing faster. Normal lvl4 hauling missions give at most 8k load, easily handled by a bestower (require lvl1 industrial) with cargo expanders.

As Goose says but to be more specific, consider doing Distribution missions for Lai Dai. It's a RnD corporation (for those not familiar) and when you have the storyline missions they give a 25% boost to Caldari Navy too.

Now you're:
- earning LP and cash from distributions
- grinding up a RnD corp so you can access research agents
- gaining standings boosts for one of the biggest Navy factions plus repairing Caldari State

That gives you lots of potential opportunities in the future depending what you want to do with your toon.

For the least painful method, do the COSMOS tag missions for straight boosts.
