small bug/issue i like to bring to attention

triage module is perfectly changing max locked targets with T1/T2 triage on or off but siege modules don't

Actually that feature is already in the tool. If you look at the red bar next to the character input dropdown and hover your mouse over the red bar it will bring up a bubble showing the skills required to actually do the fit.

I can't find any faction modules, only t1, t2 and meta 4... what am I doing wrong?

When you select a market group, the list of modules in that group will have four buttons beneath it: "Tech I & II", "Faction", "Deadspace", and "Officer".

Tonight when I have tried to load EFT I keep getting a memory access violation. Deleted all EFT files, downloaded a fresh zip, extracted. Rebooted PC and ran executable and same issue.

WTF?

Is there a feature to create a "commonly used modules" custom palette or whatever, where you add all the modules you always use i.e. Damage Controls, prop mods etc

Perhaps if you make this feature available, make us able to create multiple and save them, so we can open our "shield tanking palette" and fill it with invulns, extenders, tracking enhancers etc.

Probably one of, if not the most, useful third party EVE tool. Thank you for creating and maintaining it!

Erm, I'm seeing HUGE differences in cap life between eVe and EFT using this fit :

Lows :

Power Diagnostic System II

I know that I'm not at Logistics 5 yet, hence the Cap Recharger II in the meds, but EFT gives me 5 minutes 29 seconds of cap-life while in eVe I have 3 minutes 12 seconds ...

User error ? I might be a total noob at EFTing, indeed ... or does eVe calculate things differently ?

I've noticed differences in cap-life on other fittings too, but this one is the biggest ... and when planning ship fits for Incursions, it makes a whole world of difference ...

issues like that are almost always a result of un-updated skills. i'd redownload your character's skills through the character browser to get that fixed.

i am very much looking forward to the new marauder bonuses and the bastion module! i always enjoy playing with new ship stuff in eft after it comes out =)

Sorry, but nope, I tried that with a fresh install and a new API key, still the same two minutes difference between EFT and eVe ...

I even manually plugged in my implants (I have cap rech / max cap ones), and it *stills* gives me two more minutes in EFT than in "real eVe" ...

Thank you for making this wonderful tool. I have spent more hours than I care to admit messing around with fits in EFT.

I like that you have posted the MD5 hash of the file so people can check that it hasn't been messed with. However the security of the MD5 hash function has been severely compromised. (citation) In the interest of basic security might I suggest using something secure like SHA-512 in the future?

I copied the all-level-V character, and reduced logistics to IV from V using your fit... it gave me 1m 20s of cap life. With all-level-V it's cap stable at 59%. Are you sure you don't have implants out-of-sync between EFT and EVE?

I might have done something wrong somewhere, but EFT doesn't want to automatically update my Hardwiring implants, I have to enter them manually in the Character Editor window ...

With a "all level V modified" to set Sensor Linking and Logistics at 4 (my current levels) and without any implants, I also get the 1 min 19 secs cap life ...

The big difference is between eVe and EFT ... I won't trash my implants just to test it but when I remove them in EFT I'm back to the 1min 19secs instead of the 5 mins ...

After several tests, it looks like its the "Inherent Implants 'Squire' Energy Management EM-805" in slot 8 that forces the jump from 1 minute to 5 minutes ...

And that's still two minutes more than what eVe tells me when I get into my Scimitar ...

As I posted on the previous page, EFT and EVE don't agree on stacking penalties between modules and implants. (My example was 4 BCUs and an implant showing different DPS in game and in EFT)

I'm guessing the same bug affects you.

If you take out one of the cap power relays or cap recharger, I'm guessing EFT and EVE will agree with each other.
