Faction/Deadspace mods

I find it odd that there aren't any Faction or Deadspace modules seeded in 6-C, yet Alliance Tournament prize ships are.

Faction and Deadspace modules are pretty common, especially things like Federation Navy webs for Lokis and such, wheras tournament prize ships are intentionally overpowered, and kind of annoying.

Any chance of this being reversed in the future?

I personly think it would be useful for the test server to have all modules and ships available for testing... if people think they can be smug about killing someone on the test server or tanking a ton of damage because they are using modules and ships they couldn't otherwise use on tranquility... they seriously need to rethink a few things...

But for testing purpose I think it's healthy that people can try all mods, even officere mods.

It also allows for things like simulating certain WH effects by using overpowered modules (extra res for Wolf Rayet by using oficer EAMN anyone?)

funny the PL guys always think the test server is for "their" personal use. So your idea sir is poop. theres enough PL members grieving the test server already.

Honestly, there is no such thing as greiving on the test server, modules are basicly free... But as the above guy mentioned... Its useful for testing overpoweredness or scenarious where mechanics might begin to break... Or even testing balance in the mods and potential fits outside of eft

For the love of god, stop asking for the officer mods. They gave us the tourney ships, be happy, lest you ask too much and they take them away again.

I agree, id love to use fittings id actual take in TQ, i never fly T2 ships without at less 1 faction mod on.
Some ships could really use them like SB and logistics, so on.

Nobody's asking for officer mods, I don't care about officer mods because I would never use officer mods on TQ. I'm asking for pretty normal faction and deadspace mods that people fit to their ships on a pretty regular basis.

Also why should you be happy about AT prize ships being seeded? What's the point of these ships being available? You're never going to use one on TQ, so why should it be on the test server?

Bubanni doesnt represent the opinion of Pandemic Legion as a whole, and I would even go so far as to say that his opinion is a minority among us.

I for one absolutely hate when deadspace/supercaps/tournament ships get seeded on the test server (outside of AT season, but then again we have duality for that now), especially when new ship/module changes are on the horizon and you want to get a feel for the new ships stats before they hit on live.

Things are already bad enough with everyone running full pirate+6% implant sets with t2 rigs and domination ammo that it isnt a great analogue already, and when you start adding deadpsace/supercaps into the mix any similarity to conditions on TQ go right out the window

I personally believe that T2 modules + faction ammo/charges is a good basis to experiment around. If a bug is happening on web-use, it surely won't behave differently using a faction/officer web.

And the last time they did seed all those pimp-modules, proper checking on a rebalance was really hard - given the number of estamels modified pimp drakes and gotans mighty marauding vindicators. :|
