Launcher not launching sisi

The launcher downloaded the update and installed it fine (as far as i can tell) but when i try to log in it just won't do it. If i have it to close the launcher automatically nothing happens and it just reverts from the "LAUNCHING...." button back to "PLAY" when it's not set for automatic close.

Running on a Macbook Pro

Is there a dialog box popping up somewhere complaining about something?

No dialog box. nothing at all actually. it just sits there until it goes back to showing "PLAY"

I am having the same issue. I have downloaded the Mac test server launch tool. It has downloaded the client but when it goes into 3/4 AKA updating the patch the client freezes and i have to force close the app.

I am also using a Mac.

I have a Mac Pro desktop with amazing internet. So i am not sure the issue here.

Hi guys I play on a iMac and I've just got the same problem hit play to start launch but just sits there till it go's back to play. If anyone has a fix please tell

A little update:

I tried to do some of the workarounds and failed (not sure if personal incompitence or problem with workarounds)

Also tried re-downloading entire sisi client from scratch and still running into exact same problem

so I'm pretty much back where i started

yep same here uninstalled the hole thing and and dl and installed it again and same problem could it have something to do with the security and privacy of the firewall/ are is this really eve that have caused the problem and we just have to wait till they fix it

Hi guys, please see the announcement thread at the top of this forum for more info on this.

In short the Mac launcher payload was broken for a while but is now fixed, there is a workaround in the thread linked above

Apologies for hijacking this thread away from the issue on Mac but I didn't want to start another thread on the same main issue.

I have looked at the threads concerning launcher problems and from a simple mind, I am not seeing a current working solution that is getting me onto the Singularity Server.

I downloaded the current launcher.exe (2.1.566654) and installed it into my Test folder: C: Program Files (x86) / CCP Test Server.

I booted up the launcher which showed the Tranquility Server v.2.1.571330.

It updated and validated and still shows Tranquility Server v.2.1.571330.

Current target path after installation is "C:\Program Files (x86)\CCP Test Server\launcher\launcher.exe" /forcelauncher

Grateful for any direction from here........................
