I would love to launch a bunch of guys from a Nyx (or other carrier). How awesome would that be?

If you dont have guys, your fighter(bomber) use AI control.

Might get too complicated tho. If you can mannually fly a fighter, why not a frig etc

fighter is a small nimble single seat attack craft
frigate is not

not listened, it freaks me out to see how many "sheeps" there are now that do whatever they boss say...

What we are saying is that the recent expansions have been pretty good, as a whole we are pretty happy with the development of EVE, and we understand that CCP is running a business... not a "do as Reptail commands" service. Blink

If you personally don't like the game and how it is being developed, vote with your wallet. Otherwise be prepared for people to point out where your "opinion" falls short of reality.

Correction: expansions have been pretty poor. And inviting people to leave is not the answer.

That's your opinion, and you're entitled to it. However in my own opinion the expansions over the last 2 years, while focussing on fixing old and broken gameplay, have been pretty good, especially when you compare them to the absolute clusterfuck that was Incarna, not Apocrypha good, but good nonetheless.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

You're only 2 years old, you don't have any criteria to make comparasion, "the last 2 years" is simple all you have seen about EVE, never seen how was before, and nothing about Incarna nor Apocrypha...

Correction this character is 2 years old, there's 2 other slots on this account, both of which date back to around the time Apocrypha was released. Your assumptions make you look silly.

Very funny, I have 3 characters, my main is the one I use the most, at the moment that's this character. Posting with alts that were rolled specifically for shiptoasting, now that's lame.

I'm not getting into some petty pissing match with you 2, the truth of the matter is that I rolled my first character on 27/06/2009, 3 months after Apocrypha 1.0 and just before Apocrypha 1.5, the fact that I choose to post on the character I currently use the most, which also happens to be my youngest character, is irrelevant.

Also please quote (excluding this post) where I have specifically said alt posting is for losers?

Valkyrie on PC? Where is your "daring" attitude CCP? Make it on PS3 like dust, to avoid aimboters and cheaters.

It would be interesting to build our own stations and bases that we could walk on- these stations could be dependent to achieve communication with the Valkyrie pilots.

Their daring attitude is tempered by their 'we know what's possible' attitude. The Rift is, currently, PC only.

Actually I would like to take a stroll on the outside of a station. Get to see the wide open space and less likely to bump into stuff with my jerky WiS ambulation.

Redefining posible is CCP specialty as it seems (dust-eve link), but that didn't help dust for now....

Actually a bit surprised that their isn't bigger excitement from the community. I hold judgement on it until I see how they plan to integrate it in the EVE Universe. Hopefully it won't be a single player game that has no ties to our game world. That would be disappointing. But I wait and hope.

There is some talk of Rift for Android and iOS, which is pretty interesting. (Although invokes some horrifying scenarios with distracted driving and pedestrians, hopefully no one would be that stupid. Darwin award candidates.)

I still think the game platforms of the future is the phone and tablet. (Possibly replacing Xbox and Playstation, rather than PC.)

EVE Valkyrie might make an interesting mobile game actually.

I'd say that there is considerable excitement, but we're used to CCP promising one thing, and then delivering some half-arsed unfinished facsimile, or something else entirely.

If it's integrated into Eve in a meaningful way, and delivers on the promise it holds, then we'll party.

It's been well established by rift users that rifts belong indoors.

If you put a rift headset face down in the sun, the sun focuses through the optics and burns out the middle of the screens. Android integration sill likely be restricted to systems like the ouya.

Valkyire's development time is in the one year line.

Obviously you can make a good game in one year, but you can't make a complex game in one year, neither you can make any game tied to a monsterball of complexity such as EVE in just one year. Let alone a twitch-based game in a 1 hertz single shard simulated universe.

Also CCP Unifex stated several times in the past that not everyhting related to EVE must happen in TQ. He envisioned EVE as a brand and not just a single game where everything happens.

So EVE: Valkyrie =/= more EVE: HTFU.
