Hello, new player here looking to get into Caldari FW and I'm looking for a player corp. I'm not looking for free handouts, I just can't join the Caldari militia corp because I'm Gallente and my standing with Caldari State is too low. So as I understand it, the only way I can join Caldari FW without a serious rep grind is to join a player corp.

My reasons for switching to Caldari are that I like their ships the best (I'm a missile freak), easy access to Jita, etc. I'm aware you can use other faction's ships in FW, but I have also heard that Caldari pilots have an easier time finding 1 on 1 PvP than Gallente do.

Here probably isn't the best place to ask. What I'd recommend you do is find the top alliances and corporations you recognize in the war zone. Do this however you like...either by watching local in Black Rise or by reading these forums, EVE-Who, what have you. From there select a few candidates and contact them - their CEO or recruitment officer (most corps note if they have someone to talk to that isn't the CEO right in their description for ease of communication). Might take you a solid day (read: an hour tops) to find, message, and potentially get in contact with one of these guys. Further, many corps have public chats that you can join and get a feel for their community before joining. The corp's environment and community is what will make you happy, not a green kb or impressionable recruitment staff.
