After a small roam with cruisers and assault frigates, Why So Serious camp our wormhole with a broadsword and small cruiser support. We bring our alts over...

Firstly, gratz for bumbling your way into a Nyx kill, taking into account the competency of the MIF pilots, the most unlikely Nyx kill that's ever taken place, luckily you encountered the least competent Nyx pilot.

- If you tackle a super, get a hictor/dictor immediately, that Nyx sat there for at least 10 minutes before someone managed to get a ship that could tackle it...
- Similar to the tackle, get a cyno immediately.
- Load Null ffs, you waste all your void/antimatter shooting at 15+km when you should have saved that for a possible Nyx grind. Have a look at the optimal/falloff of a proteus shooting void/antimatter, what are you doing??
- If a hictor needs reps, you don't get it to do a countdown, drop bubble, THEN someone else puts a bubble up, where is the logic in that? Put a new bubble up BEFORE you drop the first bubble.
- Learn how fleet adverts work.
- Turn MWD off when focused by fighters/bombers...

(inb4 "We were all multiboxing, it's hard")

Lucky that VoC were on hand to sort this rabble out.

As for the Nyx pilot, I think you've had your fun with this game. Who warps a Super to a wormhole at 0 and stays stationary for 10 minutes, there is no excuse for that whatsoever, it's unthinkable.

Firstly... we aren't MIF... we are Ministry of Inappropriate Footwork, Ministry or KICK for short, not MIF. MIF are a seperate entity.


To answer your points:

- I dont think you realise how far from the fight our home was to get our bubler, especially when there are only a handfull of people online at hand, if we had more online we wouldnt have been multiboxing to begin with.
- Getting a cyno up was mentioned number of times in that engagement by every party involved, on one occasion a fleet that would have to assist were too far out of cyno range and on another friendly fire killed another of our cynos.
- When you are trying to take things out you are gonna be using high damage ammo and getting into range, if you watch it again you will see me focus on the primary at optimal and only shot at the odd thing out of range here and there.
- When you only have 2 HICs being maintained you are going to want to be clear about which hic is needing aid and cycling. As more HICs landed it became easier to manage.
- Fleet adverts factor in corp standings, Ministry did not blue any other party in that engagement as that would require dealing with executor to fix standings. Not everyone in wormholes is super happy friends, we are frenemies at best.
- MWD - its a trademark of mine and I'm never gonna learn about it.

When verge came we only had a small group maintaining tackle on the Nyx, so this rabble as you put it actually managed to survive long enough to get backup on grid and establish a solid footing on the battlefield.

Very nice video, definitely will show this to some of my new-in-eve friends so they can get a bit of an insight into how a fleet works, good work including comms and everything!

You were out of range for your ammo constantly. You were actually more out of range than you were in it.

Yeah pretty much. It's okay to shoot a single shot at someone far away to get on the mail, but to empty half your clip without doing any damage to some dude 45km away? It was pretty frustrating to watch.

The Footwork guys were only a few dudes all pretty much dual/triple boxing toons. You can see him tab through the toons at one point in the vid, maybe that's why he wasn't always doing exactly the correct thing all the time.

Yeah one thing the video doesn't really show is that for the first bit most of our guys were moving one or more characters through a chain of (potentially hostile) wormholes to get to the fight while also operating 1-2 characters in the fight.
