Was wondering if it would be possible to integrate a REAL browser into EVE. It would make playing fullscreen much more enjoyable - integrating HTML5 would allow us to play videos/ YouTube, listen to Soundcloud, etc. easily.

I would honestly prefer if CCP removed the browser all together. Let the user use whatever browser they have installed on their computer. Just put the game into Fixed Window mode (which is still full screen) and then you can have outside applications float over Eve.

At the very least, I wish Eve had a way to select if you want HTTP links to open with the in-game browser or the system default browser.

I would prefer them to allow modern browsers to be used inside the client. This means I don't have to lose focus on my eve chat windows to scroll my browser, etc.

it's something that is certainly more possible now with the introduction of html5. I wouldn't expect any work to be put into it any time soon however, there are far more valuable things that they can be spending their dev time on.

It is probably also fairly dependant on the chromium browser project. as that is what your in game browser was based on. iirc.
