Describe your experience, make comments, suggestions, etc.:

During the fight the fps was very choppy. Id get 2 or 3 frames, a pause, then 2 or 3 more. Targeting, shooting and maneuvering had large delays, like a minute or two.

It was really really hard to get the Mac client to connect. What worked was using "Test EVE Online" and this command line in the terminal program:

/Applications/Test\ EVE\ Online.app/EVE.app/Contents/Resources/EVE\ Online.app/EVE\ Online.app/Contents/Resources/EVE\ Online.app/Contents/MacOS/cider --cmdline=" /server:87.237.38.50"

I kept dragging icons that said "Eve Online" or cider or some variation to the terminal window and appending --cmdline=" /server:87.237.38.50" to them. Terminal would say "That is a directory". So I'd open it up and go a level deeper. As can be seen in that command line I ended up with, there were alot of packages inside packages. Somehow, layer after layer of packages are getting added.
Edit: Just tested it, and this command line also worked:

/Applications/EVE\ Onlinesisi.app/Contents/Resources/EVE\ Online.app/Contents/MacOS/cider --cmdline=" /server:87.237.38.50"

Where my sisi downloaded client is named EVE Onlinesisi. I sure hope you fix this before it hits TQ.

  • Describe your experience, make comments, suggestions, etc.: I suffered a bit from sensory overload, but since it was my first time participating in a large fleet fight this was to be expected. Was a fun experience otherwise, though.

OS: Windows 7 Home 64bit
CPU: AMD PHenom II X4 965 Black
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 6800
Ram: 8gb
Clients: 1
Settings: All high (defaults) fresh sisi install

Average FPS: No clue, you didn't ask beforehand to pay attention. It was quite playable, felt like regular TQ more or less.
Crashes? Nope.

My experience? I'll tell you about my experience... I'm reinstalling TQ from scratch because the POS installer you put out destroyed my original install. It's gone, deleted - the folder (and sim links to it) is there, but empty.

I created Eve_Sisi2 because my old Eve_singularity install would not work no matter what i tried. The new Sisi installer went into a fresh directory. I spent an hour downloading to get on for this test. It worked fine.

BUT - Trying to play on TQ now tonight, I find my regular eve bookmark now points into the Sis2 folder. My alt account link starts up trying to connect to localhost. No matter what I do, I lose my settings, windows, chat windows, all the things it takes 20 minutes to set back up.

You totally f'd up my evening, thanks. Never again will I waste my time on a mass test if its going to mess with my TQ installation.

You can keep the free 2m fake skillpoints on a server that means nothing.

I don't judge people by their race, religion, color, size, age, gender, or ethnicity. I judge them by their grammar, spelling, syntax, punctuation, clarity of expression, and logical consistency.

Describe your experience, make comments, suggestions, etc.:
No problem at all with 6 clients! Experienced very short TD effects after jumping but no crashes. FPS changed plus minus 6 while changing brackets.
Overall the performance has much more improved! It's very encouraging!
As I stated before:
Generally I would tell to avoid lagging, crashes, graphic issues etc. EVE-players should upgrade their hardware, max. RAM for system and graphic board and max. speed for CPU/GPU.
