Why shooting a ibis is a bad idea

Before we go any further I am and alt.

So

There I am sitting on a gate orbitting at 1000m thinking about how the sky is blue grass is green etc.Big smile

Then I notice a tengu being pot shot by the gallente po po. Shocked

He then for some reason locks me up and im thinking meh moron. So I delock him but for another minute the police are shooting him. I think is he actually dieing there.

So i lock him up but the police have only dented about 25% of his shield. So for fun I slow boat to him and get to about 7500m and all of a sudden he blows me up.

Instantly the real EvE police show up and he goes red. He tries to get to the gate but Boom his tengu get assploaded everywhere.

Anyway I open his cargo still in my pod and OMFG the loot drop. I race with my other char who is 2 jumps away and luckily the area is quiet and scoop the loot.

I convoed his ceo for the concord kill and have nicely placed it in my BIO for you all to have a look at.

Including my IBIS loss and his Tengu loss. Please have fun having a looksy. Nice 844mill drop Pirate


BTW I have kill rights on him now too :P. Nice bit of fun to be had with thatEvil

Maybe if you sell the killrights for 100m or so he will activate and kill himself in an ibis and call you a moron in here. Big smile

I suggest extortion.

I had a WT shoot me at a station yesterday (for fun, i love testing my tank) and a legion showed up.
Suddenly i see the messagebox pop up, blabla, killright and i think ... hu ?

Look at screen ... Legion ... blinky ... oh ...

Couldn't lock it up to shoot it, because i had to dock up as my armor was low already,
but that's okay as i had something worth far more than that.

So i mailed the pilot and we had a nice discussion about it
(he explained he accidentially clicked F1. Safety measures ftw)
I offered that the killright will never see the light of the day,
if he made a reasonable offer.

I'm a nice person after all.

Was quite hilarious, actually. At first he offered me 10 Million ISK, but after i made a quite
convincing speech about his next 30 days within the game and how i would follow him
around, watching him, he realised the futility of his situation.

After providing proof that i will keep my word, i got 250 Million ISK richer. ^_^ (i'm not greedy)

So ... extortion. Give him a chance to bail out of it.
And stick to it. You never know if it doesn't haunt you one day, if you don't.
