This is the beauty of the Caldari State. You put the proper citizen in even the most terrible of positions and they turn it right around. I always knew Oiritsuu would make a comeback of some sort once Heth's regime collapsed, but even I was surprised by how quickly and how thoroughly she's managed to restore confidence in Kaalakiota. Heth's incompetence and corruption dealt serious damage to the corporation's credibility, but she seems to be truly dedicated to repairing it. I strongly suspect this "temporary" reappointment will be anything but.

Kaalakiota's hardly my favourite megacorporation of the Big Eight, but I must offer my hearty congratulations nonetheless.

There have been deep pockets within Kaalakiota that never truly give their full alleigance to Heth, I think.

Certainly the speed with which Oritsuu has returned to power and the lack of 'purges' to get rid of Heth's influence suggests as much.

For the first time since I started the conversation, he looks me dead in the eye. In his gaze are steel jackhammers, quiet vengeance, a hundred thousand orbital bombs frozen in still life.

This opinion mirrors my suspicions about the Caldari State under Heth in general. I don't think Heth was anywhere near as popular as he liked to pretend he was.

Certainly not during his recent plunge into madness, no.

Well played on acting CEO Oiritsuu's part, though it is a bit too early in the process to pass judgement, in my opinion. However, it is good to see a true State citizen putting their hard earned resources on the line in the name of the collective interest.

I will watch this with great interest, as I am sure many will.

I'm slightly bullish on this. It stops the bleeding, at least.

Well, I sure as hell did not.

I will admit, growing up as a child, Haatakan Oiritsuu was the woman I always secretly strove to emulate for I found it hard not to admire her skill, vision, intelligence and passion in my youth.

I do not think my admiration was unfounded.
