Not sure if anyone else would be interested, but I'd be down for attending or hosting a LAN party near Nashville. I could offer a clean basement (no, not my mom's!) with an 8-foot table and a gigabit switch; figure four players per side plus one on each end, should comfortably accommodate up to ten players. BYOB!

I'm interested. I've actually been trying to get some people together in the area as well. There's about 5 of us so far. Here's the thread:

If they're up for it, maybe we could all meet up in Nashville. I wouldn't be able to until August-September though, and I think one of the others said August was bad for them.

While I might be down for attending a more formal event such as what you're proposing, I would really like to just hook up with some locals and play EVE. Renting a venue and catering food is awesome, but someone's house and pizza delivery would be far more feasible, especially in terms of it possibly becoming a regular occasion.

Any of you Nashville folk just so happen to be attending NSCC? I installed EVE in the computer lab this past semester and it actually runs halfway decent. It would be cool just to hook up, but getting some LAN action going on campus would be frickin' awesome.

Spend most of my time either near Murfreesboro, TN, or up in the Appalachians in Burnsville, NC; just east of the TN/NC border. Playing some Eve right now out on the deck as I wait for the weather to get better here in the mountains. Such a rainy July!

I'm down for a meetup in Nashville. I'm also the mod for the Tennessee Players channel and would like to see it become more active. Need a couple people interested in helping mod it and getting activity. Perhaps we can all get together and roam one night.
