Making the best use of LP stores?

I've been collecting a lot of loyality points and I'm wondering what I should do with them?

I'm not in FW so I can't get the loads of dog tags needed to get the faction items. The faction ammo and ships you can get also seem to have a low profit margin. You have to spend half their sale price to get them.

The only good think I can fine thats worth getting to sell are the specialisation skillbooks that I can sell on at a decent price.

Ammo usually gets you at least 1000 ISK per LP, don't pick items with a lower conversion ratio. Faction drones sell also quite well, but might take time to do so. If you got the time, go run incursions and don't bother with missions.

Looking for a group to pew with ? Have a chat with me.

You know you can buy those dogtags off the market, right?

I don't judge people by their race, religion, color, size, age, gender, or ethnicity. I judge them by their grammar, spelling, syntax, punctuation, clarity of expression, and logical consistency.

yeah but by the time I've spent the ISK getting all those tags there is no real profit left in the enterprise

ok I've tried making a batch of faction ammo to sell, for 1200 LP and 1.25m ISK I get something that sells for about 2.5m ISK. I'm only actually making about 1.25m profit. Is that considered good?

Generally, if you make 1000isk per LP, you're doing ok. If you make more, you're doing better. If you make less, you're doing worse.

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.

Your profit margin doesn't increase when you farm the tags yourself, their worth still has to be taken into the conversion cost since if you could make more off of them selling them directly it would still be wiser to do so. It's in the same line as minerals you mine yourself aren't free.

If this is some clever jab at the russian farming bot menace, I like it.

Check the market. Make some spreadsheets.

pick up ammo, sell it on incursion systems, or on the last highsec system before lowsec. both places will see it getting sold eventually 10% - 20% over jita prices. put them up for sale in batches of 100k, split on stacks of 20k. 20k at 5% over jita, 20k 10% over jita, 20k 15% over jita, and so on so on. it can take 2 months, but it will sell. if you have 10 systems or so where you are selling, you will see a constant income.

if you are looting its even better, just make a filter for meta, and separate from the loot all the meta 3 and 4 guns, also meta 4 remote reps, ewar, and just reprocess the rest. and make ammo with the minerals, eventually you'll end up with a ton of meta stuff to sell, and leftover minerals. (nocx, mega, and stuff)

make sure you don't move the loot on an industrial, gankers will shoot at anything moving a bunch of meta modules, simply because they are usually used to "hide" good faction and deadspace modules among them.

usually anything but ammo, will be much better priced on the FW store. so never buy ships and modules on the mission faction store.

Ew.

I assume the ew is design related? (Something I really need to work on. My sites tend to be brutally functional, with little in the way of aesthetics)

Other than a bug with the blueprints I just squished, the numbers I'm seeing pretty much match those on Sable's. Which is hardly surprising, as I got the database from https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=197115

One difference between the two is that mine offers both buy and sell price data. If you just want to see where you can dump materials for quick ISK, the buy version is more suitable.

If it's something else, I'd be curious to know.

Edit: oops. Sable's offers buy and sell as well. Just need to change it in the preferences. Ditto on location. Just a difference in design philosophy.

My awful sense of humor.

More a design preference, I used yours a lot before I found sables.
I also enjoy the fact that it shows when the price was updated for every item.

If you think you can hide something like that from a ganker, you are wrong.
Gank scanning tools will sift through and show every item of value if he wants to see them.

Cool. That's pretty much what I expected and wanted to hear Smile
