I was viewing my standings and wanted to improve those with the "Tribal Liberation Force" however they wont give me jobs unless i "Join their war". I do not understand what that means. Does it involve leaving my current corp?

From the ashes of our defeat, we will be reborn. With these chains with which we are bound, we will become indivisible. To those who showed us no mercy, we will give no sympathy. For the flames that burn our cities, we will douse in injustice's blood

The Tribal Liberation Force is the Minmatar Factional Warfare militia. This EVE University Wiki article provides detailed information on Factional Warfare.

Joining up as a solo player would entail leaving your current corporation. The corporation itself can join the militia, of course, but the CEO or a director would have to do that.

What he said.

Factional Warfare is a lowsec NPC-run battleground in which proxy forces of the four empires wage war for dominion over certain areas of space. Its mechanics are intended to encourage solo/small gang engagements, with ship class limitations. There is also a reward system for repaying positive contributions to the war effort.

However, being part of it requires the entity you're a member of to be part of it as well. The TLF is the Minmatar "public" militia. It acts as a corporation, so you have to quit your current corp to join it. Player corporations and alliances can join the militia independently, but as Jonathan said, that's a decision made at the directorate level.
