A New Remap of Eve

I think a new remap would involve the cloak time a ship on a gate once it has exited hyperspace.

There would be new skills involved that would allow for longer Gate Cloaks than normal plus modules that would a ship to remain cloaked longer after jumping through a gate.

I also think that all ships need to have the after jump cloak reworked.

Frigates up to cruisers would see between a 20 and 30 % increase

BC and BS a 10 to 15 % increase

T3's - 25% increase

Capitals - 20% to 40% increase.

Something to talk about and get going for the next release.

Would the next release happen to named Oblivian?

Everyone wants longer After Gate Jump Cloak Times....But I have never seen any posts discussing it.

I never understood why people need that much time
and you actually want it increased ?

I've noticed a few things about gate campers and the timer.

The usual advise is to wait out the timer as long as possible.

If campers are expecting that people will wait out their cloak timer,
it makes no sense to wait out said cloak timer.

Instead always act immediately, because that's what most won't expect.

Anyway ... just wanting to display reasoning behind my confusion about why you would want an increased timer.

Care to explain ?

Edit: Also ... wrong forum.

Agreed. I can't even remember how many times I've thought to myself "if only I had 6 to 25 more seconds of gate cloak (depending on ship type ofc)" It has been many times

I take my time if I jump into a gate camp and zoom in. I find my ships direction and look for something close to being in line with the ships direction to warp to then cross my fingers.

Indeed, the idea is enough to give me a "drinking problem".

Then how did you come to the conclusion that everybody wants it?

Could it possibly be that [now, stay with me here, this is going to sound crazy] it is infact YOU who wants longer cloak time?

If one lands in a gate camp and you know you can't get away just pick a target and go down swinging.

Probably because if you haven't learned to avoid gatecamps and ganks by now, then no amount of change to game mechanics will help you. No shame, sometimes it just happens. Pirate

That way you're giving them more time to get ready to catch you.
When you're gatecloaked, your ship looks in no direction at all.

You're not aligning faster if you warp to something your ship points at.

Mechanics don't work that way.

I guess I'm just the odd man out. I've never given any thought to the matter at all. That's how little it has affected my game play over the last seven years.

I doubt it.

CCP carefully reviews their expansion names and at some point in the process, someone would decide a misspelled word makes for poor expansion name.

Also the rest of your post is pointless. Waiting out your cloak timer after jumping a gate just gives everyone more time to get ready to pounce. Move quickly.

You never know, it would be something nobody has done before.
