Are there a use for these other than paper weights? I have any where from 10- 100s of almost ever one, Ahermen thru Vizan.

Thanks for any info you can provide, god knows goggle is no use.

afaik they're only good for selling to npc buy orders

there might be some storyline or cosmos mission that takes them in order to give you standings or some lame bpc but since p much every mission is on the web i would expect you'd find them by googling

so i guess all you can do is dump them, check eve-central for the best buy orders, if they happen to be npc orders (large round amounts on weird stations nobody uses) then that would confirm my theory above and you should just dump them

8 are used for turn-ins at loyalty point store. Each faction navy offers a battleship and a cruiser blueprint for one particular officer tag (plus a bunch of other ones and LP).

if you quickly need to boost your standing, e.g. if you want to put a POS in 0.5 space and dont want to grind another 1000 missions

You are mistaken i think, officer tags aren't used for data centers, only regulars.

Officer and commander tags are junk. Most dog tags are junk too for that matter. Insignia tags dominate the LP store and they introduced Security tags for Sec.

I keep mine in hopes they one day let us use them for something. Even as an instant LP turn in for the guy who wants some Khanid launchers or something (example) but doesn't want to grind missions for a month but after ten years I expect them to die with my account.
