EVE New Citizens Q&A

Hello,

I'm a returning player, alongside a few others, but I couldn't find any other place to ask this is, so I'm putting it here.

I aml looking for a way to calculate the faction standing ourt corporation has.
What might be the reason for it? Well I'm trying to figure out what the impact me be on our standing if we temporarliy remove a few members.
This of course witrh the idea of anchoring a POS in 0.5 high sec.

I've read the wiki, and a few other guides who say that it's the seperate standing of contributing members added up, then devided by the number of contributing members.
However what is listed makes no sense to me.

The standing of the Caldari Faction towards our corporation is listed as 3.26.
The contributing members have (standing as mentioned on the composition tab) :
Me : 6.06
Member 2 : 4.69
Member 3 : 3.04
Member 4 : 0.15
Member 5 : -0.18
Member 6 : -0.32

If I make the calculation I end up at 2,24 .. and that is entirely different then what's listed on the corp standing tab.

Is anyone able to shed some light into this?
Or is 'the formula' I'm using completely wrong (mind you this might very well be the case).

The members listed in my first post are the ones that are listed on the compositions tab.
The others don't count yet (due to not being in the corp for min 7 days or because they have no standing towards Caldari state like my alt).

These should be the only ones counted towards the total faction standing.

Get someone other than yourself to check your standings, I've heard there is something wrong with the way it display's to the directors/CEO's. Not sure quite what the problem is, but I remember someone on my comms saying that.
