So, me and a few mates are coming back to the game. We decided that FW looked like fun, but I have some questions.

1) There are only 5 of us, is it worth joining our little alt corp direct into FW as a corp, or should we go find a bigger group to join?

2) Is a 5 man gang viable for running the small/medium plexes or are we just going to end up running into superior numbers all the time?

3) Is the opposite true, if we run a 5 man gang are we going to be considered blobbers and get no :gudfites:?

5 is fine. A good amount. Once you are familiar with the area and people its a small step to scaling up if needed.

5 seems fine.

You will get the occasional "omg blob" tho.

I remember warping into a PLEX that had 5 ppl in it with our 2 Thrashers (Think they had Dragoon + Algos + 3 Frigs one of em a Griffin) and they bailed out because they detected our offgrid Boost while crying in local about it. Was insanely fun. I mean, it could have been that a close fight would have happened... How preposterous!

Depends on the activity of your members. I'd suggest maintaining good relations with established militia corps either way. This way you get acces to intel channels and larger fleets should you feel like changing it up.

Yes. You don't even have to all be in the same plex, depending on the amount of hostiles in local.

Yes, you will be. The war zone has anything from solo pilots to 60 man blobs. There will be fights to be had for the five of you, but if you go and chase after solo pilots then yeah ...

A competent gang with that on the field would have raped your thrashers 5 times over, even with boosts.

yea there will be enough plexes in each sys for you to all spread out and get more targets to come to you.

You can soon back each other up if needed.
