sounds a tiny bit overpowered to me. a freighter with 4 times space and literally near to no gank option on it :)

Some might argue that moving a lot of stuff around is already easier and safer than it should be. Anyway this thing will kill jump freighters completely.

I'll give you that. Maybe....hmmm. Maybe normal sized? but with really low jump range? Like 5.0 ly?

As far as ganking goes, TECHNICALLY JF's have a really low gankability right now...doesn't mean it doesn't happen.

JF can jump from HS to low/null but not the other way. which means a JF can fall into a gatecamp in HS (has to use regular gates in HS) where your ship cannot. (or at least will be extremely hard to catch) (making it next to I win button for logistical movements) :D

Yeah...that's kind of the idea. A HS JF, because you don't really bring a JF through gates in HS. Not if you want to keep it.

A few major problems with this.

One, you're asking for something that is strictly better than both a Jump Freighter and a Freighter but doesn't cost any more than either. That's just unrealistic.

Two, this thing can't actually dock at a station, how is it supposed to load or unload cargo?

Three, CONCORD doesn't give a rat's arse about how safe or unsafe capsuleer shipping is, they only care if we shoot each other and that's only to prevent high-security space from turning into a war-zone between capsuleers.

Wish you'd left it up for posterity and just affixed a note or something. We all have ideas that maybe weren't thought all the way through but leaving them around lets other learn from them.
