Most of you know Sindel Pellion as the creator of wonderful EVE Parody Songs. But she also runs the Angel Project, a fantastic initiative aimed at helping new players get through their early days of EVE without being daunted by the sometimes harsh realities of New Eden.

In our latest Community Spotlight, we take a look at the good work the Angel Project is doing and highlight the celebration of their 1st birthday!

WoW. I wish I had known of this three months ago. (when I started my first character).

I started my first character by doing the tutorial and startup agent mission for... (I can't remember which empire). Then I got the idea of doing all four empires' startup missions with the character.

I would open a new character just long enough to discover where the startup agents were in an empire, then send my 'true' character there to do those missions (killing of the 'finding' character). My 'main' character ended up with 34 frigates, destroyers, and industrials when he finished that circle. Doing 20-25 jump trips with that many ships turned out to be a real bore (even when you haul repacked destroyers and frigates in industrials).

anyway, for for reason or another, I killed him off and two more characters, each getting the assets of the character before. I am now operating my 4th 'main' (and only) character and made another just to roam the forums.

If i had known of the angel project, i imagine a lot of the mistakes I made would have been easier to take. I am a noob at EvE and know it. I have no PvP experiance in Eve (except knowing how to lose a ship and what mistakes I made to do so).

I would likely qualify to receive help from you guys (getting close to three months playing), but would prefer advice, which I have gathered is not your point.

Good luck to you guys

Well, I've only just recently heard about The Angel Project which makes sense due to it being very new. It was very limited info but still very positive.

Gratz to Sindel Pellion and The Angel Project for being placed in the Community Spotlight.

To CCP :
No offense intended but there's still a lot of older players who are still active that have contributed to the Eve Online Community as well.

Once again, gratz to The Angel Project.
