Granted, but remember - the "distance to warp field collapse" figure ticks over once a second, and that's more than enough time to warp the whole or most of 86,400Km, especially in an interceptor. between latency and player error, I don't trust that figure to be a reliable means of measuring how far you are from something.

My undestanding is that the co-ordinates system in EVE effectively has no upper limit - It's just tracking you by three numbers, there's no reason those numbers can't go up to some pretty silly amounts, assuming they have a cap at all. so I'm not inclined to think that Erfuen Rito has it right.
